I had a CTer email me asking for links to sites with 9/11 songs and lyrics last night. I had posted some of the movement's greatest hits on my blog and I guess my site came up in a search of his. Well... long story short, he has a site (which is under construction), that had a link to SurvivalSystem (http://survivalsystem.com). On there, I discovered this:
Federal officials now warn that future terrorism is certain. To capitalize on the impending chaos, the gov't is now sanctioning YOUR STATE to adopt new legislation allowing TROOPS to (a) CONFISCATE your home & property (including weapons) without compensation, (b) INJECT YOUR FAMILY with a toxic vaccines cultured on tissue of aborted fetuses, (c) QUARANTINE AND IMPRISON those who refuse innoculation, and (d) CLOSE THE ROADS to prevent escape!

He states that it's all laid out in the Emergency Health Powers Act, which he invites everyone to read, except that the link he provides only leads to HTTP Error 404.

Figured I'd post this to see if anyone's heard of a friend or family member being innoculated with toxic vaccines that were grown on dead babies.

Vaccinophobia seems to be a problem with conspiracy folks. My fellow Austinite, Alex Jones, thinks vaccines are loaded with cancer viruses and poison--part of a secret plot by the ruling elite of the world to kill 80% of us.

Alex Jones believes vaccines are killing us off like flies--but he was the only one smart enough to notice. It doesn't get much more CT than that.

Thinkingcat, they still talk about fluoridation! I heard Alex Jones and another local CT talking about how fluoridation is being used to make us docile.

The vaccinophobia hang-up is part of the larger CT hang-up of being poisoned.

CTs often think they're being poisoned--as part of a concerted plot--by vaccines, "chemtrails" (contrails filled with evil chemicals or microorganisms), fluoridation, genetically-manipulated foods, electromagnetic radiation, deliberately-created plagues, and who knows whatnot. There are also things like implanted micochips to worry about. Alex Jones said we were all going to have chips implanted.

Of course assaults on our bodies are of real concern to real people. But the CTs make it part of the fantasy. So everything becomes part of a vast, centralized plot to poison us in a hundred different ways. (In these theories, the evil ones often seem to be poisoning themselves--a problem with the CT scenario.)

The "being poisoned" obsession further suggests to me that conspiracism is a bona fide mental disease, or at least a personality disorder.

That's a very good question. It's been proven time and time again that attempted rational conversation and logic do absolutely nothing for them.

I think that while the leaders of these CT movements fall into a few distinct categories (Severe paranoia, scam artist looking to make a buck), many of the followers are just gullible and will believe anything that fits in with their hatred of the government. Then there is probably an even larger group that is on the fence; and these are the people who need to hear the skeptical viewpoint to be able to make an informed decision.

The larger group will be reached once (if) the loosers get their product into the theatres and the mainstream media starts debunking it.

Despite our own predilictions, the internet forum phenomena is still a minority pursuit. Those who answer "erm...yeah...kinda" when asked by an opinion pollster if they believe there is a government conspiracy in connection with 9/11, will be informed by television.

If we want to do some good, all I can suggest is that when (if) LCFC is finally released (and assuming it extends beyong it's titles and disclaimer and therefore contains a sh*tload of inaccurate information) we could email the respective news media in our countries and make sure they check the debunking sites before they formulate opinions on the product. But I doubt that this would be necessary.

No new fetal tissue is used to produce vaccines. Cell lines generated from a single fetal tissue source are sometimes used for some vaccines. Vaccine manufacturers obtain human cell lines from FDA-certified cell banks.

Fetal Tissue and Vaccines. Some vaccines such as rubella and varicella are made from human cell-line cultures, and some of these cell lines originated from aborted fetal tissue, obtained from legal abortions in the 1960s. No new fetal tissue is needed to produce cell lines to make these vaccines, now or in the future.
