Anyone up for a hotdog eating contest at Westward Ho? The last time I was there I had one of their 1 1/4 lb. dogs for lunch and had no problem eating later. I'm confident I could eat at least 3 if I set my mind to it.

So who has the stomach to challenge me at TAM5?

Hate to break it to you, but the Westward Ho is no longer there. It closed a year ago, and when I was there in April it was just a pile of rubble.

If eating contests are your thing, may I suggest trying to max out on Golden Gate 99 cent shrimp cocktails?

Slots-A-Fun has both 99 cent hot dog and shrimp cocktail when you present your frequent loser.. er uh I mean player's card. Lots of horseradish in the cocktail sauce, btw.

Some of the suggestions are good, but just wouldn't be the same. If it was just about the food, we could go to Taco Bell and see how many 7 layer burritos we could eat. It was about an inpromptu contest in an interesting place.

Maybe we can have a drinking contest?
