sorry, i didnt know where else to post this, so i figured the jref million challenge forum guys/gals always got a bunch of know it alls and maybe could help me out. ok heres the question, lets say someone out there really did have paranormal powers, and theyve tried entering the jref million challenge but didnt get accepted. how else could they be acknowledged for there powers, and even if so they could and did prove it, what would be the purpose of having it anyways instead of proving skeptics wrong?

Welcome Telepathic Ads!
I do not know why your friend was not accepted for testing, however it is my understanding that JREF will explain a person was not accepted. The most common reason given is that they did not properly follow the admission protocols which usually involves the failure of the claimant to properly define their paranormal power(s).
One has to have a clear understanding of just what the power is in order to properly design a test that will validate the claim.
My advice to your friend is, please carefully review the application process and post any specific questions that you have about it here in this thread.
I hope this helps!

What kind of paranormal powers? If they had telekinesis they could clean up at the craps table. Clairvoyance and they could win big at any gambling enterprise. Mind reading? They could be the next John Edward (only for real!)
In fact many people who claim to hold paranormal powers are making so much money they can't be bothered with Randi and his paltry million dollars.
