Still, I've often thought of Hillary as being asexual - that would just be a distraction from her ladder-climbing goal of Empress of the Universe.

Did you hear that it was once thought that President Clinton had dinosaur DNA in him?
The found "lickalottapus" behavior all over him...
That's a horrible joke, but in retrospect I may have the same affliction.
In serious regards to a Hillary run. I think a Rodham-Clinton & Obama ticket would be almost "unlickable", UNLESS... McCain and Condi were to team up.
In THAT race, I think McCain & Condi would lick up and even savor the Hillary and Barak duo.
How's that for a visual!?

You have a WOMAN in the Presidential slot, and a semi-BLACK man in the VP slot.
Both are highly qualified, and have had higher turnouts than those who previously ran for the same offices.
In national elections, turnout is everything. Voting in the first female President, and the first black VP... That would make it a race for the ages.

I believe that Hillary Clinton is a product of an era where the press and television controlled public opinion and, quite frankly, how we think. The only problem is this. We do not live in this sort of society anymore. Now-a-days we have the internet and we have BLOGgers. As Mike Drudge has once said, "these days, everyone is a reporter". And just as the BLOGgers brought down Mike Wallace with his phony military records about W, so will the truth about how Hillary Clinton really is will come out. And this will overshadow the well-crafted public persona that we have been duped into believing about her.
Do you remember how popular Ross Perot was? On the surface, a lot of people thought Perot were like a dream come true. Questionable dealings and seriously personality flaws did not come to light for a long time. In the end, Ross Perot was Ross Perot's own worse enemy. Hillary Clinton has even more and even bigger skeletons in her closet. She has a history of looking people straight in the eyes and telling people what she cannot possibly believe. She has even coldly done this on national television. Remember her "vast right-wing conspiracy" comment? She cannot be so stupid as to believe that knowing her husband’s history. She did not actually believe that but she truly thought that the public will and that would throw off the Paula Jones and the Ken Star investigations into a tail spin. After that interview she told an aid, “that will teach them to **** with us” within ear shot of the set crew. She also has a history of stabbing people in the back to further her political career. And, looking at all the questionable dealings she has had her hand in (Whitewater, the Whitehouse redecoration scandal, the silverware disappearing and re-appearing from the Whitehouse, the FBI reports on Republicans appearing on her desk) one has to wonder if her well-reported good deeds were just a photo ops intended to hide her true nature.

Hillary Clinton has even more and even bigger skeletons in her closet. She has a history of looking people straight in the eyes and telling people what she cannot possibly believe.
What, she isn't really a Yankees fan? Bill, she's a politician. What you describe is standard political behavior. Sad, but true.
She has even coldly done this on national television. Remember her "vast right-wing conspiracy" comment?
Yes. I thought it was sad. It did not do her credit.
She cannot be so stupid as to believe that knowing her husband’s history. I am guessing her estimation was incorrect.
She also has a history of stabbing people in the back to further her political career.
Yes. She is a politician. Next?

The fault for that lies in WJ Clinton's abuse of his office.

I wouldn't underestimate the Clintons, if I were the Republican Party. In my opinion, I think Hillary has an excellent chance of becoming the first woman President. She is going to have a hell of a lot monetary resources at her disposal, she already has a solid base of supporters, she can speak very well, and even her enemies will admit that she is highly intelligent.
I also think that many Republican women will secretly vote for her because she is a woman and they what to see a woman in the Oval Office for a change. If Hillary can show that she is somewhere in the middle of the political spectrum by her voting record and her abilities as a speaker, I believe that she can win, even against McCain and whoever he wants to run with.
Besides, it would give me great pleasure to see my father's face after he knows that Bill Clinton is back - living in the White House!:D

Yes, Matt Drudge. Thanks for correcting me.
So the answer to the question, yes, and it will be Hillary who defeats Hillary. In fact, you may not believe it now, but I think she will not even get the Democratic Nomination.
No, it was Hillary's desk. I will go back and look up the details.
And to say that stabbing people in the back is ok because it is all just politics is not good enough. It is like what a liberal friend told me, "everyone get's B.J.'s in their office". Maybe everyone you know does. Maybe every politician you know of stabs people in the back. That is not good enough to just brush it off.

The abuse of law and regulation was the responsibility of the President, not his wife, in that the Executive Branch's position was abused for that personal/political purpose. I don't care whose desk they ended up on, it was the violation of the disposition of official records that is the issue. It's also been forgotten by most.

Dave, I was never a big Clinton fan. In fact, I voted against him twice. Over time, and especially after seeing the Bush Administration in action these last six years, I have softened up on the Clintons. So, Bill likes women; I think many men have the same problem and would lie to protect themselves in a similar situation. He would have gotten away with it had it not been for that unwashed piece of clothing! I bet the number of male politicians(including many that were on a crusade to destroy Clinton) that have had sexual relations with younger women(or men in some cases) while in office, is very high.
I actually like McCain. Lately he has been trying very hard to be friends with the bible thumpers, even thou they put him thru hell in his 2000 effort to win the Republican nomination against Bush. I would be willing to listen to what Hillary has to offer, and not automatically rule her out because her last name is Clinton.

I have seen Bill Clinton on Charlie Rose’s program where he fesses up on the Monica relationship. I find it refreshing. I like to see it when someone comes clean. It makes me admire and respect them more.
When the Judge in the Paula Jones case was coming down on the Oval Office, Hillary turned to one of her lawyers (yes, Hillary and yes, her lawyers) who advised that the best way to deal with the situation is to settle. Have the president make some sort of watered-down admission and settle with Jones with some sort of out-of-court cash amount. Hillary was shocked and did not have anything to do with this idea. To Hillary Clinton, telling the truth was political suicide. It had never been tried or been proven to work for her in the past, and she made it clear that she was not going to try it now.
If Hillary had taken her lawyers advice, the Paula Jones case would have dissolved. And even the incident where Vernon Jordon and Bill Clinton told Monica to lie to Paula Jones’s lawyers would not have happened. That was obstruction of Justice.
We are way too forgiving of Democrats and way to condemning of Republicans. Can you imagine if Bush pulled half – or one tenth – or ANY of the things either of the Clintons have pulled?
I know that you love Hillary and will over-look any flaws. But that is not the issue. The issue is not that Hillary might have and probably have and occasionally has lied. The issue is that lying is the central policy of Hillary Clinton.
She is not going to win.

Well, he likes women, he occasionally lies because of them, and his time in office also happened to be during the greatest economic expansion in modern US history, and he also left office with a 65 percent approval rate. That's about all that I can think of.

To hear Alan Dershowitz tell it: After the Supreme Court turned down Clinton's attempt to have the Jones suit postponed until afer his presidency, what he should have done is to say, "I don't have time to deal with this, I'm not going to defend it, go get a default judgement." This would have meant a few millions dollars to pay off the award, no admission of anything, and no deposition. I'm no legal expert, but that sounds like it would have been a dandy solution.

And he cheats at golf. Golf Digest does a piece called "18 holes with ______ " that covers a round of golf with some notable. Of trivial interest to most, except that it has been said that playing a round of golf (by the rules) can tell you a great deal about someone. (Of course, that is usually said by golfers . . . )

Clinton had nothing to do with the "greates economic expansion". Historians and economists attribute that to the presidents that came before Clinton.

Yeah, I've heard that same argument for a long while now; I do come from a very dedicated Republican family. Who gets the credit depends on the political views of the person, historian, economist, ect. My father claims that everything that is good in our country is directly related to Republican successes. Of course, everything bad is the result of the Democrats. The good things that happened during Clinton's time in office were of course due to Reagan. The bad stuff right now was Clinton's fault, no way that Bush had anything to do with that. Bush was set up by that bad ole Clinton. The good things during the middle and later Reagan years were due to Reagan, no way that Carter had anything to do with that.
See, it's all very simple to understand.
