Hey, you guys. Check this out: I updated my blog on how the destruction of the Death Star was totally an inside job. Check it out

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=45737951&blogID=191222184&MyToken=aa174b88-0c50-453b-b291-bd191208fd35

Maybe if we get more people to read this they'll disbelieve that ridiculous story about how "Rebels" "attacked" it. Maybe we can get some justice for the REAL people responsible: Emporer Palpatine and his Imperial shills.

I think you're on the right track here, but I think you have missed the most obvious reason for the destruction of the Death Star: Just days prior to the destruction of the Death Star the Emperor had delivered the galaxy a double-whammy by both dissolving the Imperial Senate and destroying the rebel-sympathizing planet Alderaan. Add to that the fact that the Emperor is a fundamentalist Sith whack-job and you can see why the Emperor's approval rating was plumetting. He needed something to divert the attention of the galaxy and gather support at the same time.

To borrow a meme from another galaxy, it goes something like this:

1) Dissolve senate and destroy Alderaan
2) Stage rebel destruction of Death Star
3) Profit!

The blood of every one of those loyal soldiers on the Death Star is on his hands! Truly the most evil ruler of the Galaxy in a thousand years. If the senate were not dissolved, they would impeach him immediately.

AWWWWW DAMMIT! Seriously, guys...I just woke up with this idea. I thought it was brilliantly original. I even wrote that in my journal. "I had an idea that was brilliantly original". And then I talked about cake for, like, seventy pages, but that's not the point. I feel a little retarded for missing that other thread, but I seriously did not see it. I don't even frequent this part of the forum that much. It's usually twice my daily intake of crazy to deal with 9/11 truthers.

Anyway...and that adult swim thing is HILARIOUS.

Actually, in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, when Vader is in his little chamber (right before Admiral Ozzel brought them out of lightspeed too close to the system), he's conversing with the Emperor.

Turn up your volume. You can clearly hear Palpatine admit that he, "pulled it."

You've all got it wrong. There were no suspicious going-ons. You are all just quote mining. It was nothing more than an accident:

Is this funny?

No, absolutely not. I am deadly serious about the Death Star being an inside job, too. To be honest, I don't know why people keep telling me it's funny and all. I'm trying to warn people; this disinformation campaign about the true fate of the Death Star has to stop, and those responsible need to be punished.

We worked so hard on that too... :( :( :( :(

Once again, I am sorry about that. I had no idea there was a previous thread about this and, honestly, you guys did a better job than me. Mine was written at something like five in the morning while giggling to myself and talking to people who possibly weren't even there.

I'm just giving you a hard time. I put virtually no effort into that thread at all. I agree that I was tremendously entertaining and extraordinarliy hilarious though.

Some of us have been on to the Star Wars conspiracy since the late 80's. I believe Reagan was involved. He was an actor, former head of FAG, the film actor guild . This was such a FAG conspiracy.

HAHA...
