Our favorite Saddam mouthpiece is back!!! Reports say he's been captured! Hooo raaaah! I was worried he was dead. The guy is a world treasure. Im sure he'll be in Hollywood before you know it. Hosting American Idol or maybe he'll replace Allen Combs on Fox News. Oh the possibilities!

Bob has just released this statement : "I have not been captured. The evil infidels have been defeated, Saddam is still in power. Iraq has prevailed. All praise Allah!"

Ironically, I remember hearing that he tried to surrender weeks ago, but because he wasn't on the Most Wanted list, the Americans refused.

So what happends to this guy. I doubt that being the press minster amounts to any war crime. Do they just question him and let him go. What right do they have to jail him? Or any of the most wanted.

It is on Foxnews, which should raise a flag.

He'll get a job in the Detroit Tigers head office...

He will probably run in the Democratic Primaries. He is more popular than any of the current hopefuls, and could definately capitalize on the anti-war sentiment.

I can see it now (in the background a chart of all ten economic indicators pointing steadily upwards) "President Bush has led the US to economic ruin with his illegal war".

I am NOT the subject of this thread! The heathen Infidels who write here are no match for the TRUTH! Johnathan Edwards and Sylvia Browne will prove without doubt that they are REAL and TRUE psychics, and-Allah willing-the heathen JREF will recognise them as the True Powers they are!

Word has it he has a job lined up in the current administration.
Oh, that's right, they already have a replacement for Ari Fleischer.

My economy is fine. I'm making more money than I ever did before.

My State's economy is royally screwed, because of Democratic Governor Gray Davis (http://www.townhall.com/news/politics/200301/POL20030110d.shtml) . Maybe we should sell California to the Soviets? It would be a good political match. Oh wait! The Soviets don't have any money either.

The ten US economic indicators are currently showing steady, albeit slow, growth.

I dunno, he looks ok to me...he's not a young man any more and the beret covered the grey hair on TV. I think he looks rather relaxed.

He surrendered, the soldiers questioned him, they let him go.

This is the second time he surrendered.

Someone throw him a bone already!

Is it just me or was the hair just sticking out from under his beret Black in various pictures?????

He doesn't have access to Saddam's make-up man anymore.
He must not have had any real data if they released him so soon??????
If he starts spouting pro-Saddam crap they made another big mistake.

Former Iraqi Information Minister Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf - dubbed "Comical Ali" for his deadpan insistence that Iraqi forces were crushing the invading Americans - appeared in brief interviews on Al-Arabiya and Abu Dhabi TV on Thursday.

...

He refused to retract his wartime claims that Iraqi forces were "burning the Americans in their tanks", saying only that his reports came from "authentic sources - many authentic sources".

...

He denied being part of Saddam Hussein's inner circle, saying he was a professional doing his job.

And he said he was at work on a book.

His comments were part of a longer interview due to be broadcast on Friday at 1900 GMT, Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV said in a statement.

Now come on people, give the guy a break. I fully believe him when he says he was "only doing his job"......now where have I heard that line before? Oh yea...Nuremburg.

How embarrassing do you think it is for him, being on the run, and then, after he's caught, let go because he just really wasn't as important as he thought he was?
