The first person to vote on the poll voted "yes" and he wasn't me. I voted second and voted "no."
I wonder who the first person was. It could be a_unique_person, but it's also possible that its not.

There you go, JAR.
I'm actually libertarian, but "voted" Commie this time, just to scare you.

I voted "I'm a commie" too, as I'm willing to make the effort to help fellow comrades--I mean posters out! ;) :D

We should do a trace and WHOIS on JAR... find out his address... When we take over there will be no room for him in the Commie NWO. ;)

These guys who voted yes are commie posers. If you were true commies you wouldnt particpate in anything that smacks of democracy!
Now, whos up for an old fashion book burning?
Mr Manifesto

Tmy: You don't know anything about Communism. If you only knew the truth about it, you would embrace it whole-heartedly and not make snide comments. Why not come to my place, and we can discuss it over a nice cup of tea. I use a special blend, so don't be concerned if it tastes odd...

It's not looking good, the Commies outnumber the others. JAR may have to Home Security.

Actually, when I clicked on the poll results it was 50/50! Maybe we'll have our very own JREF cold war!
Hope no-one finds the WMD I have under my rosebush that I can mobilise within 45 minutes!

We pretend to like your inferior running dog capitalist lackey of a democracy for the purpose of infiltrating your society and leading the workers in a popular uprising to form a true workers' soviet paradise!
;)
Seriously, not all commies are anti-democracy. In fact communism is the ultimate democratic ideal in which everyone has equal influence and responsibility, and no-one has power over anyone else.
Because we send them to the gulags! ;)

Everyone likes to point out the bad in Commies what a bout the good!
Look at China! DO you really want a country that big to be a democracy? Only the commies can keep that many people under control.

Some commies are evn nurturing parents and ardent supporters of the American way, it is more a dream than a goal.

Could China even make it as a democracy. I figure that many people with that many subgoups would probably implode under the stress of a rotating democratic government. Then what. Youd have an unstable nuke power with 2 billion peeps.
Dont you think the world is better off having China under a commmie lock n key.?

It won't be an issue when it becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Philip Morris Inc! ;)
Interesting point, but it looks like the Chinese government is gradually heading for capitalist democracy anyway. It might be difficult, but the US provides a good template for stable administration over large distances, if not over large populations. Still, there's lessons to be learnt from the collapse of the USSR, WMD-wise.

Come come, any intelligent comrade with serious subversive intent is hardly going to admit it, is he/she?
In fact the most intelligent approach for a comrade on this board is to do one or more of the following:-
1) To adopt an avatar with some "patriotic" or militaristic quality e.g. US flags, some sort of weaponry etc, (an unsubtle but surprisingly effective disguise).
2) To loudly and frequently support US unilateralism ( pisses off 90% of humanity).
3) To oppose all forms of gun control (on the basis that this leads to more dead capitalists and is generally socially disruptive).
4) To oppose affirmative action (unequal opportunity encourages bitterness and social unrest and thus promotes social turmoil)
5) To uncritically support Israel (subversive effects too obvious to go into ).
6) To, in the guise of a right winger, make no distinction between leftists, communists, liberals and socialists ( thus undermining the right's shaky reputation for intellectual penetration and integrity even further).
7) To randomly and without warning radically reorganise these forums (thus irritating the hell out of people and encouraging disrespect for duly constituted authority).
In the circumstances I hope you will agree that, when you analyse the posts on this board from the above outlined perspective, it must be admitted that the subversion of this board is proceeding splendidly.
Yours Dialectically
Nikk.

There's a lot to like about true communism (which I've only seen on paper, never anywhere in practice).
And...don't worry, Jedi Knight. Communism will never, ever become a reality. You and I both know that no social philosophy will ever completely eliminate human greed and selfishness. Religions have tried for centuries and failed. Communism has been even less successful. :(

Well, I've always harbored a sneaking suspicion that the person who writes Jedi Knight's posts is actually a member of the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, and NOW who only pretends to be a racist, homophobic, misogynistic, egocentric, prevaricating braggert in order to make those kind of people look foolish. It has worked so well, that perhaps Jar has picked up the torch and followed in his footsteps.

Funny thing JK, most societies before the developement of agriculture and storage technologies are essentialy communist. I guess that mean every body before 30,000 years ago are all perverts. I am sure your great ancestors would be thrilled to hear you slamming thier greatest virtue.

But although I was born and raised a proud prole, I went to university so now I'm middle class. I think I need to go and sit down and have an identity crisis... or join the Socialist Workers Party!

Were they communist or did they, out of necessity, engage in mostly communal living ? Or is there no distinction? Communism is an ideology, is communal living?
