Three days ago, I wrote a letter to the LC forum admins. I sent it to all of their emails using a sock account, cujoman31. Here is the letter.

Dear Loose change forum administrators,

I am writing to you to request information concerning my banning. I created this account as a way to contact the forum administrators. I know it is against the rules, but please hear me out. I have sent on of these to all the forum administrators listed. I was banned as tsire. I was never given any warnings, nor was I given any a reason as to why I was banned. I never went overboard in attacking any other members, nor was I intentionally disruptive in any posts.

Many times I take the position of the government, considering that the Loose Change forum is crowded with people who don't give them a say. I have done extensive research on both sides of the story. I have watched countless 9/11 conspiracy movies, movie rebuttals, conspiracy rebuttals, and the 9/11 commission report. I believe that to fully understand the story, one needs to be able to see and understand both sides of the story.

I would also like to point out that I think it is a little hypocritical of the Loose Change forum to ban most of the people who disagree with them. I realize that some have stayed, but that gives an un-proportional perspective to the lurker. How can you possibly claim you are committed to the truth if you ban anyone who, in many peoples opinion, for whatever reason, you refuse to argue with?

I hope that I have given you some insight into my perspective, and the perspective of many others who don't share your view. I hope that you take my comments into consideration.

I guess they get good at avoiding the questions after a while.

Thank them for it, and be glad. You're learning early in life what some people with a little bit of power are like. As soon as they have it in their hands to wield it against someone, they do. Most people don't learn this until they're stuck in a job with a petty boss who arbitrarily denies your vacation time, or some such thing.

The tendency towards petty tyrantism is strong in a depressingly large number of people. For most of us, it isn't the Presidents or Prime Minsiters who ruin our lives, it's the little guys who get off on screwing us around.

"Shut up and conform, or you're gone!".

Interesting. I wonder if I can still post. I got banned summarily when I "admitted" connaction to the JREF, but after the change of politics, I could register anew, and have been making some obviously dissenting posts over there.

ETA: Seems I'm still "alive" there. (I'm talking of the new LC forum, of course).

Good point. Their hypocritical thinking skills are incredible. Call everyone else a sheeple, or a shill, or whatever else they say to feel cool, but they believe everything in Loose Change and will listen to absolutely no dissenting opinion. Then they complain that every time they try to speak against the offical story, they are "blackballed and ridiculed", and that the fascists in the NWO are coming for them to silence them. That's odd, seeing as how nobody has been arrested for producing, distributing, or watching 9/11 conspiracy documentaries. But many a skeptic has been banned from their forums just for disagreeing. So much for civil debate.

Of course, sometimes they go rabid and start threatening and attacking you personally--for the thought crime of disagreeing with them. This is why we say they're insane.

That's a pretty good letter, tsire, but I'm not surprised at the (lack of) response. Thanks very much for posting it, though. The more their hypocrisy is made public, the more insular they must become. Their forum may even one day become invitation-only, to further protect their precious egos from being confronted with reality.

It already has with the super sekrit passord only thread - oh yeah, did I mention that they haven't done nearly as great a job at stifling thought as they think they've done with regard to that thread? :D

For the most part they have been lenient with dissent since the JohnDoe era is past. They have a thriving? skeptic forum. I think if it wasn't for the skeptics, Killtown ,Pickering and 1 or 2 others there would hardly be a message board.
