Taking scissors to play cut up with the black vote down in Florida; coloured pens and glitter glue for sexing up the dossier. I'm the someone who knew something they're not telling pre-September. I lean on people in the loop to help them un-remember
I was flying on UA 93
That shadow in the footage? It was probably me
I'm the rumor, I'm the doubt, I'm the lie, but you wouldn't stand near me if you didn't want to die
(Chorus)
Everything you know is wrong
Theres a verse missing out of this song
Everything you know is wrong
Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong
I was there when they landed on the moon, in a studio in Kentucky in June
I've got Kennedy's brain in a jar
If you knew what I knew you wouldn't laugh so hard
(Repeat chorus)
In the canteen down at Columbine with the bags they never found
Striking matches up at Waco when they burnt it to the ground
That true?
Without me, Oklahoma wasn't possible at all
See my silhouette in the Super 8 around the grassy knoll
True
(Repeat chorus)
(Repeat chorus)
I was in Paris in the underpass
I'm the FO-sponsored super grass
I'm Charlie Thrush in Minnesota
And I smuggled hep across the border
Stole Danny Casolaro's memoirs
Put the acid in the reservoirs
I'm Ron Brown's body on a T-43
And I hid those missing WMDs
What did the president know? When did he know it? Everything you know is...
Everything you know

Sounds like they've kept true to their Tubthumping lyrics and have been steadily mixing whiskey, vodka, lager, and cider drinks for the past 10 years or so.

Pissing their brains away....

Remember, dispite tub-thumping, chumbuwumba is an anarchist band. they've always been anti government whack-jobs.
their trad English folk album is fantastic though, the rest of their stuff i can take or leave.

I thought the lyrics were making fun of the conspiracy theories.

That's not so surprising. There were approximately 25,000 people in that band.

It's sarcasm.

I think John Prescott was in the band once, but they had a falling out. Some kind of artistic difference.

John Prescotts contribution, edited out of final version of 'tubthumping':

"He drinks a lager drink, and let me be perfectly clear on this, without any reservation I would say it's almost certain, though we can't say for sure, but we are as certain as it is possible to be with the information which we had then and is not avaliable now though it might be, if we knew, which we do, but might not, given the changes which have been made, it could be possible, though the possibility only exists slightly, though what I mean by slight is another matter, but he did, indeed, to the best of my knowledge have a vodka drink. Or it could have been a brandy."
