So it looks like TS1234 stuck his head out of his hole today (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?postid=2151683#post2151683), but didn't want anyone to notice him.

Too bad I'd already admitted defeat (http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?postid=2149811#post2149811), but this does seem to indicate he has some means of finding out what's going on here, otherwise, how could he have known to PM The Almond?

Oh, and I'll post this again, since I don't think anyone has read the other thread yet:

I've submitted a donation of $100 to the JREF via their online donation system, and have forwarded to R.Mackey a copy of the online receipt. I expect in due time he will confirm these details.



I knew this bet was an almost certain loss for me when I took it, but I took it because I felt it was important for us here at JREF to show the CTists that we're not all just talk and bluster. I wanted to show them that we're willing to put our money where our mouths are, even if they aren't.

So now I'm throwing open a challenge to all the other debunkers out there: Make a donation to JREF, or some other skeptical organization, on behalf of our CT friends. Let them know that we're not just going to sit around while they spread their insipid lies, let them know we're willing to actively support the organizations that are showing their lies for what they are.

So, I ask you all to make a donation, large or small, and then post a note here, so they can see for themselves how serious we are.

I should think that when he flounced off he simply logged out (and possibly deleted any randi.org cookies as well) and then kept an eye on the forums as a guest. That way it would look like he was taking the moral high ground, or at least he would assume so.

Hey guys. I originally offered to debate anyone coherent who would appear on cable television, and would defend the official theory (as opposed to rebutting some alternative theory).

R Mackey declined, Gravy declined, and others also declined.
Someone suggested a "closed thread" debate. I acted on this idea, but after a long time, administrators informed me that there is no such thing as a closed thread.

Then someone suggested that the result be published as a book. I loved that idea, and ran with it.

I offered to debate someone, pay them for their time, and publish the book, splitting the authorship and splitting the publishing. JREF banned me for a week for this, citing their policy against commercial endevours.

So I ended up debating Chipmunk stew, and I destroyed him/her barely trying. Chipmunk Stew gave up in obvious embarrassment.

I have no part in Mackey's $100 bet.

The offer to debate Mackey and or Gravy on TV still stands, and I will pay airfare and hotel lodging for one night.

Note TS "destroyed" Chipmunk Stew about 8 days after CS posted last. I'm pretty sure that was against the rules that were laid down, but TS1234's suspension probably had something to do with it.

Also note his "destruction" was pretty much all the same BS we've debunked a thousand times already.

What is meant by massive? We are left to wonder. All things have mass. The twin towers were designed to withstand multiple jet impacts, and they did withstand these impacts, as the buildings stood motionless afterwards. Until immediately prior to "collapse", no undamaged floors were seen to be unlevel, no vertical lines were out of plumb.

NIST also does have some study during the towers collapse as I explained to him before over and over.
