WACO, Texas — School administrators gave a 4-year-old student an in-school suspension for inappropriately touching a teacher's aide after the pre-kindergartner hugged the woman.
A letter from La Vega school district administrators to the student's parents said that the boy was involved in "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment" after he hugged the woman and he "rubbed his face in the chest of (the) female employee" on Nov. 10.
DaMarcus Blackwell, the father of the boy who attends La Vega Primary School, said he filed a complaint with the district. He said that his son doesn't understand why he was punished.
It wasn't the aide who complained, a school administrator witnessed the incident.

The father said his boy hugged a teacher's aide while waiting to board a school bus. But the principal said the pre-schooler rubbed his face in the chest of the female employee, demonstrating "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment."
The father, saying it was silly to so misread his son's action, demanded that school administrators remove the incident from his son's file and apologize.
Sexual references on the discipline referral were removed, but the father was told "your request for an apology by the aide and removal of all paperwork regarding this incident is denied."
Don't you have to be a bit touched in the head to see a 4-year-old hug an adult and then write a sexual harassment complaint?

This administrator should not be left alone with 4 years old, he sure got a very dirty mind ...

I think you are all missing the most important question: exactly how big was the "chest" of the teacher's aide?

In the not too distant future?:
"A two-month old baby was arrested for sexual assault today. The child's mother had asked a teacher at her 5 year old's day care center to hold the baby while she put a bandage on a cut the 5 year old sustained on the swings. Police were called when the baby attempted to suck the teacher's breast. The mother insisted that the baby was just hungry and searching for food, but prosecutor's believe that the child knew that the teacher was not its mother and said they would prosecute to the full extent of the law.
The teacher has also filed a civil suit asking 4 million dollars for emotional injuries resulting from the attack, plus $11 for dry cleaning."

Read about this in a German magazine yesterday, couldn't believe these folks were serious. I mean - a 4 (four!) year old. Come on, someone give these people their necessary medication.

Jesus, I highly doubt a 4 year old was sexualizing that woman's breasts. It was probably a mommy comfort thing. People like that shouldn't even be allowed around children.

I thought it was established knowledge that any child under the age of 18 will be seriously emotionally damaged by seeing or coming into contact with a woman's breast, or hearing any of the words 'tit', 'boob' or 'breast'.

Hm... *reads it again* ... ah *penny has dropped* :D :D
Btw, I touched the breast and earlap of a nun in kindergarden when I was four years old. (I wanted to know what's below that headdress.)
She survived, and nobody sent me to prison for what I did. Actually, nobody cared at all.

Either that, or the kid was just doing what he saw his dad repeatedly doing. Like father...like son? :)

Playing devil's advocate for a moment, it is entirely possible that the child was indeed rooting around like a hog looking for truffles. Some kids are like that. They need to learn not to. Maybe suspension is a bit much.
On the same subject, I'd like to sue my neighbor because of his dog inappropriately forcing his head into my crotch.

I've seen four-year-olds actively lifting and looking up the skirts of mannequins at department stores. And I knew a girl who told me she had a nephew of that age who liked to lift up her skirt from behind. The boy's parents argued he was being cute.

I think such behaviour needs to be addressed to show the kid that it's just not something you do at school with your teacher's aide, although I don't know if an internal suspension would have any impact on a four year old. A mere correction until it demonstrates repeat behaviour should be enough.
I question the principle's discipline measures.

Way overblown. Tell little Johnny it's not nice and discipline him appropriately. He probably saw it on TV!
Many little boys I've come across develop a short lived habit at a certain age...punching guys in the nuts. Once they discover it can disable a grownup, they think it's a funny thing to do. But it is not sexual for gawds *********** sake!
When the hell will the "P.C. Pendulum" begin swinging the other way? These trends are frightening.

doesnt sexual harassment have to have a sexual advance(an unwanted one)? theres no way that kid was thinking something sexual. She should be fired for being a moron.

Can you blame the principal? He was probably dreaming of doing that himself for years. And a 4 year old beats him to it? If a middle aged man would have his career ruined for it, why should a 4 year old boy have impunity? I have complete sympathy.

Why? Becuase it was the administrator that had the problem not her, so she gets fired for not concidering it sexual harrasment? That hardly seems fair.

Typical adult females are lots taller than 4 year olds. She would have to bend down to get a hug, and in that position, exactly where would you expect the childs face to come in contact?

I do wonder if racism is behind this more than jealous lust- a white aide, a black child, and a racist principal? Anybody know the ethnicity of the subjects involved?

Geez. At four-yrs old adult bodies are just the lumpy things that hug you. Blue2 is 7 and still doesn't have a clue that using Daddy's lap as a convenient climbing spot may be painful for Daddy.
The principal is an idiot.

I do that at the pub, but I always get slapped. No one thinks it's cute.
