This was briefly mentioned on the morning news here in Houston on the CBS affiliate. (I don't know which channel airs Montel).

Worked for me. It is the "shot in the chest" segment.

Then scroll down about halfway, and click on the bald guy:

Jonathon Walton is the community interest reporter at CBS 11 here is Houston. You know, the goofy, crazy morning guys that go around and get into all kinds of 'trouble' in the community. He's actually pretty funny sometimes. But I have to admit I had no idea he was a skeptic to any degree. I might just have to tune in more often.

I can't get it either, but this comment is amusing:
Posted by Joeanne:
do believe some people have second sight, but this woman just don't, My grandmother had it some times, and I sometime can see thing, but it's nothing that I talk about.
Posted by: Joeann Thomas at December 22, 2006 08:27 AM
She doesn't talk about it - but she does post about it on the internet.

Unfortunately, the link worked for me. She is such a ________ (fill in your favorite rule 8 word :-)
Anyway, I think the video may have been linked earlier in another thread. It's the one where she tells the parents that their daughter was shot, when in fact she had collapsed for no apparent reason, and died.

His comment is
Psychic Silvia Brown busted again!
This time... Montel tries real hard to make her "vision" make sense.
eta: Ahh, he's linking to the video on Ebaum's World (http://www.ebaumsworld.com/2006/12/stupid-psychic-2.html)

Nice recovery; "I don't care, something hit her in the chest". "I'm telling you".
And the PARENTS are telling YOU that she collapsed and an autopsy was carried out. You piece of filth.
At least it's solid gold material for your site RSLancastr - keep up the sterling work.

It looks like you got at least one hit from my comment. This comment follows mine:
Thanks for posting that site [CynicalSkeptic]. There was a lot of useful information on it. There needs to be one of those sites for every psychic and faith-healer out there.

Now I'm disapointed. On the same web site (khou.com), you can click on this chick:http://www.khou.com/images/home/whiticisms_header.jpg, and her page has video of a "Spirit Messenger" named Georgia O'Conner, that does the same kind of audience interaction crap that John Edward does. Really vague **** like "someone over here is studying for the bar, and your dead grandma says you're not studying enough." Blecch. Direct Link (http://www.greatdayhouston.com/)
