From their Mission page; " The reDiscovery Institute maintains a slick web page, and tirelessly promotes archaic religious dogma elegantly dressed in modern scientific terminology, to school boards, museums, theaters, juries, and editorial pages across America."

I had not read that particular page until you posted it (the brain can only take so much) but I really like: "No one really knows where these things come from" the spokesman said, "the literary evidence shows no transitional forms of the limerick for instance. Using the standard model of literary derivation, we would expect to see 2, 3, and 4 line comic verse, but the archives show not one shred of such paper. The burden of proof is on the literary community to prove that we are wrong, they have had things there own way for too long, and things just don't ring true".

This is gold:

ETA: Oh man, I need a new keyboard and monitor after reading this, that'll learn me to drink cola and read this stuff:

1. LEWIS DOT STRUCTURES. Why do chemistry textbooks and Mendeleevists tell students that electrons are black dots, bonds are lines, and atoms are letters? It's a lie. X-ray crystallography and the Schrodinger equation prove that electrons are not black dots, bonds are not lines and atoms are not letters. Tell your teacher to: Teach the Lewis Dot Structure Controversy!

More gold from that page here. (http://www.re-discovery.org/ten_questions.html)

I'm waiting for Truth in Science (http://www.truthinscience.org.uk/site/) to get around to chemistry or physics. Our initial focus will be on the origin of life and its diversity.

Fantastic

I really like their Friends list.

Difficult to distinguish between the satire and the "serious" stuff

Get the US out of IUPAC (http://www.re-discovery.org/get_us_out.html): IUPAC supports the use of Arabic (Muslim) Numerals. :D

Thanks for this website. Although they are difficult to converse with, the creationists are fun to laugh at.

Priceless Site. Must download periodic chart.
