(Mahmoud) Abbas said that at Aqaba, Bush promised to speak with Sharon about the siege on Arafat. He said nobody can speak to or pressure Sharon except
the Americans.

According to Abbas, immediately thereafter Bush said: "God told me to strike at al Qaida and I struck them, and then he instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did, and now I am determined to solve the problem in the Middle East. If you help me I will act, and if not, the elections will come and I will have to focus on them."

This article is nothing more then hearsay.

We don't know what Bush actually said, all we know is what Abbas said and for all we know Abbas might not have even heard Bush correctly or might just be mixing Bush's words up.

We ALL know how clearly Dubya speaks.

It is possible that the witness is simply stirring the pot (i.e. lying outright).

It is also possible Dubya actually said it, but only as a half-witted way of wedging his godliness into a conversation.

It is also possible Dubya actually said it, and meant it.

You'd think that wildly misquoting and/or inserting words into the mouths of national leaders would have consequences for other national leaders that engage in it. Especially for someone who wanted to be on America's 'good side'.

Of course, Dubya can hardly say two words together right. This is the best and brightest of the entire Republican Party?

And that's another part of the spirit of America I want to herald, and that is the prayers that were said by thousands of your citizens -- I mean, people from all walks of life. They didn't say, I'm a Republican, therefore, I get to pray, or I'm a Democrat, I pray. I don't care about either of them, I pray. Everybody prayed. A lot of people -- if I say everybody, I don't know if everybody prayed. I can tell you, a lot prayed. A lot prayed for your safety, a lot prayed for your families. A lot pled to an almighty God that you were rescued. And thank God the prayers were answered.

America is a nation that is -- a nation that values our relationship with an Almighty. Declaration of God in the Pledge of Allegiance doesn't violate rights. As a matter of fact, it's a confirmation of the fact that we received our rights from God, as proclaimed in our Declaration of Independence. I -- I believe that it points up the fact that we need common-sense judges who understand that our rights were derived from God. And those are the kind of judges I intend to put on the bench.

I see an opportunity at home when I hear the stories of Christian and Jewish women alike, helping women of cover, Arab American women go shop because they're afraid to leave their home.

INTERVIEWER: Well, you're a secular official...
DUBYA: I agree. I am a secular official.
INTERVIEWER: And not a missionary.
DUBYA: Sir, on the air strikes in Iraq, the Pentagon is now saying that most of the bombs used in those strikes missed their targets.

I don't know if this quote can be topped, though....
Border relations between Canada and Mexico have never been better.

There's a lot of material to work with.

God told Dubya to attack Al Qaida... Osama and Al Qaida attacked America in the name of Allah... HE WANTS TO KILL ONE OF US BUT WHICH ONE!

A lot of Serial killers and psychos tend to believe God speaks to them... perhaps we should keep an eye on Bush... make sure he dont FREAK OUT on anyone...

I think God/Allah likes a good fight. When humanity enters a period of relative peace he gives instructions to both sides to attack each other, grabs a bag of cosmic popcorn and watches from the comfort of his celestial couch. And since humans can't think for themselves or find ways to establish peace or practice forgiveness, an old and outdated concept, it actually works.
