I was thinking of becoming a fakes psychic. If I do it, my thing is going to be telling people whether their loved ones are in heaven or hell. I'll take forty dollars and a copy of a death certificate and then the next day, I'll say that in my dreams it came to me that their loved one was in heaven.

Nobody would get hell and nobody would hear any fake words I made up to pollute their memories of their dead relatives. And, since I don't even pretend to predict the future, it can't possibly be illegal. The only way people will know I'm faking is if I tell them I'm faking.

Altogether far more ethical than your usual fake psychic. I figure I could make an extra ten grand a year.

Although, what is interesting is that Ben Radford claims that 100% of male psychic detectives in the USA are homosexual, although I'm recalling that from a talk a while back, so I might be remembering shonkily.

But it was kind of an obscure one, I grant you that.Ok, went right past me - I've had an ongoing battle with two male "psychics" over here and both of them fit more into the "dirty old man" category - being "psychic" is a great way to meet young or vulnerable women and find out their status.

That, and the fact that about 99% of their customers are female.
