Sure did. A lot of hipsters here in Seattle would enjoy an attack on the "Needle." Some call for its dismantling as they say it is a left-over Cold War symbol and eye-sore. I think it is cool but I am new to the city.

Yes! It was built in 1962, but about ten years ago that conference room was added about 1/4 the way up the tower (the mini flying saucer-looking thing) and I think they load its roof up with fireworks.
