Having only seen Randi perform magic a few times on TV over the last few decades, I know that he is a great magician, but I don't know the extent of his magical knowledge. I know that Randi has put out many books of a skeptical nature on the paranormal and the like, but I wondered about what he's done in the realm of magic beyond performances:

Has he invented any magic tricks?
Are there any well known magic tricks based upon his ideas?
If so, what tricks are of his creation?
Does he consult with other magicians to (on occasion) produce new or different tricks?
What would he consider his greatest work as a magician?

I just thought I'd inquire about the other side of James Randi without asking for any secrets.

I'm sure if you e-mail him, he'll respond. He's pretty good about that. A lot better than I am, and he's got a lot more going on in his life.
