I've got a big problem with this story. The only news organizations that have picked it up are some liberal and leftist sites. Now, they're quite a bit more likely to print true things than, say, PrisonPlanet or those types. But they're also quite a bit more likely to cherry pick news items that agree with their editorial bias than, say, ABC News.
Did this interchange occur in Gonzalez' recent testimony? There's a decent chance. Was it a meaningful event? Probably not nearly so much as these sites want us to think.
We'll have to see if this develops into anything.

I tend to agree. If the excange were true, even that limburger guy would probably get a bit upset...

There's a bigger thread over in the Politics section on this. For me, it disconcerting just because of the mindset it implies.
