grah! One of that guys calling in references the Philadelphia Experiment, although he didn't seem to know a lot about it. He didn't even get the myth right (or the name of the myth).

The myth says that the US Navy preformed experiments on the USS Eldridge, these experiments were supposed to make it invisible, but when it was activated it was transported in the blick of an eye from Philadelphia to Norfolk, and back again. Sailor went mad, got stuck in the deck or walls etc.

Sooo not Pitsburgh and not from coast to coast.
