My apologies. I have asked Jared to take posting a little more serious.

I believe improvident posts can be deleted by the poster, can't they?

In any event I think it would be appropriate if Hal chose to delete it. If you would like I will ask my son to try and delete it in the morning.

He (my son) belongs to a few other forums where an ocasional thread like this is considered funny and not necassarily in poor taste. He understands now that it is not appropriate here.

Thanks,

RandFan

Perhaps RandFan,Jr. could edit his post and replace it with something of substance... I'm surprised there has been no moderation of this thread yet.

Seems RandFan solved the problem himself without recourse to moderators. Perhaps Jr has something to add at this point?

I thought it had something to do with IcanTakePicturesOfDemons (a.k.a. Lyndale, or LightpiercingtheDark.) For those here who are new, a few years ago "Ican" had posted pictures taken in his basement that claimed to show 'demons'. Many people engaged him in debate, pointing out the 'demon' images were just the result of the mind's habit of trying to produce recognizable features out of random noise.

He was to make some "big announcement" around christmas time. About that time he deleted all of the threads he started (which annoyed a lot of people since many of the posters put a lot of thought into their responses). Later, he revealed that the pictures were actually taken from a Loch Ness web cam (set up for scientific research.)

Bored? Hmm. A little time on your English lessons might not be amiss...

Hmmmm, maybe it's boredom that leads to spam?

That might explain the constant bleat for me to buy GENERIC VIAGARA!

(We don't need no stinking Viagara....)

I keep getting ads for breast enlargements, penis enlargements, generic Viagra and web cams. Perhaps someone wants me to make an online transsexual porn flick. Then go to Nigeria....
