WTF is wrong with the notion of one world government? I sure as spit would like my vote counted against George Dubya Bush, because his silly policies sure as spit affect me. In a globalised world there needs to be a globalised framework for government to act. A federation with common courts would be a good place to start.

The EU is not a revived Roman Empire, because is has been formed through the consent of democratically elected governments, and the Roman Empire built by conquest.

The two are not remotely comparable.

The Roman Empire contained North Africa, and much of what we now describe as the Middle East. It's population was far smaller than that of the current EU members.

The Roman Empire was built and maintained by violence, down to the adulation poured upon gladiators.

The European Union was formed as a preventative measure against violence, in the form of another European total war.

are all wrong somehow and while I would agree that a 1 World Government is okay,what would stop COMMUNIST or SOCALIST LEADERS from taking over it and enslaving the world.

I don't know about the rest of the stuff, but I'll step out on a limb and say that the above is more or less incorrect. Edited to add: Based on the fact that these are all based on Biblical prohesy which is inconsistant and unreliable.

What do you have against Communism? Bit of a knee-jerk reaction. It seems a rather equitable solution to the world's problems, if you discount the fact that it is based on a poor understanding of the nature of humanity.

I gently remind you that Communism, as hinted at by Marx, has never been attained. Dictatorships and police states have claimed to be communist.

Personally, I don't believe the communist ideal can ever be attained - because it is a state derived from a faith based belief system which is rather similar to Christianity in its exclusion of others.

As for the anti-christ - please define what you mean, and then, in your own words (no links to other websites - I am interested in your insights) tell me why you consider its existence to be probable. Quotes from scripture are inadmissable, as they are assertions with no evidence to back them up, and would be laughed out of a court of law.
