Served in the Military from 89-95, working for myself now. I split my time between my place in NH and Boston pending on if it’s my time with my boys or not. I attended Umass Lowell to obtain my BS in Plastics Engineering…..but never really pursued being an Engineer as a career when I found out you make a lot more money selling things versus making them lol.
I consider myself a little bit of a skeptic on both sides of 9/11. I DON'T believe in CDs, faked crash sites, holograms of planes or remote controlled ones. I do however think more towards we knew more than we let on and people are keeping their mouths shut due to just flat out dropping the ball. Which is some ways is just as bad depending on how specific the information in hand actually was prior to the attack.
Anyways….I’ll start combing through the threads…….I’ll look forward to chatting with everyone.

HI. You will find things much more pleasant and sane over here. I am surprised that you were not banned from LC actually. Many of us were banned simply for disagreeing with their distorted beliefs. Anyways, welcome.

Hi Wartrac, I saw you on the LC forums. Have you been banned yet? Dylan and the other Admins ban members for their beliefs alone, so skeptics generally don't last long there.
They seem to be allergic to JREFers. Possibly because we debunk their arguments faster than they can come up with them. :D
Welcome.

Hey Wartrac! Nice to see a fellow LCF refugee here! Those poor children at LCF need a way to exert their rage at the man and choose 9/11 with flawed theories! Also, don't worry about Killtard so much, he's just a little screwed up in the head!

Welcome, Wartrac. I hope you find a lot of good information here.
Served in the Military from 89-95, working for myself now.
I like people with military experience. They tend to know what is and is not possible for the US to do. They also know just how much work goes into keeping secrets.
I do however think more towards we knew more than we let on and people are keeping their mouths shut due to just flat out dropping the ball. Which is some ways is just as bad depending on how specific the information in hand actually was prior to the attack.
So, do you have any idea whom you suspect knew what and when? I mean, knowing that Osama Bin Laden was determined to attack inside the US would be different than knowing that he was determined to do it on September 11 in New York and Washington. Also, the fact that some CIA operative knew something might not mean that the whole CIA knew it, let alone FBI counter-terrorism, let alone the White House.

Welcome Wartrac. I'm fairly new here as well, though I'm a young CT (AKA ignorant nutjob kiddo). I hope you can preserve your LIHOP influences and not let yourself to be brainstormed by the skeptics opinions on the case. Facts are, there's no way to prove the government didn't know about the plot, before 9/11, and some evidence (misguided, yada yada) indicates otherwise as well. That's what I understand, from a few months of lurking and watching multiple sidesteps on foreknowledge threads. And they all still consider 0% chance of LIHOP here.
Now please go ahead and chastise me. :( I just needed to get off my CTist blabbering for the day. Thank you.

They've got pretty lax about banning lately. Sceptics are roaming freely over there.
Perhaps they're busy making films? (Apple Mac)
Perhaps they're trying to rustle up funds? (spare change dude?)
Perhaps they know the eyes of the world are on them? (Guardian readers)

It's true. They have softened up a bit. Much to the dismay of the usual suspects like rox, terror, PD and KT who keep asking to ban this guy or that guy...we seem to be hanging on.

G'day Wartrac.
The loose Change Forum led me here. It was also the inspiration for my username. I was on a forum in Australia and there was a bloke called Billzilla telling us about his adventures with a pilot called JohnDoeX, I checked it out and my head nearly exploded trying to wrap itself around the arguments JDX and others were using.
Eventually I was banned for not believing JDX when he warned everyone about the US plans to nuke Iran last October.
I have signed up there again using an anagram of brainache, but can't really be bothered to post much as they still make my brain hurt.

Funny. I was banned today after making a post that said..
I\'m not going to answer or even waste time debunking you but I will ask an extremely pertinent question. If Newton\'s third law makes the official story of the collapse impossible, how does it make the truthers version possible? You see, disproving the collapse by physics disproves the collapse (by any means) in all other scenarios.
So apparently the censorship goes on :)

Thanks for the welcome all.....
No I haven't been banned yet, however I sometimes get the feeling that there are a few over there that try to drag you into name calling. Just to have a reason to ban you......
There are a few over there that will have decent debate before it hits the "you must be blind or an idiot to not see it" thing.
I'm not sure really. Like I said it really depends on how specific the information is. Meaning, if a threat is based just on a plane etc without a specific airport of origin etc, how can you stop it? You cannot warn the masses, it would shutdown commerce, nobody flying etc.
Nevermind the hundreds of airports, various airlines, thousands and thousands of flights. How can you secure them all? But that gets to the point, I don't know how much was known ahead of time. But I do find that lack of cooperation in the commision a little disturbing. Granted you cannot provide all intel and their sources to the general public. But to me there did seem to be some air of covering something up. To what extent I don't know.....it's purely a gut feeling and opinion.

Dear Yurebiz,
When you make a claim of US government involvement in the 9/11 attacks, the burden of proof is on you. It is not our job to disprove your claim. Claims are not evidence. For example, "Hey, Yurebiz, you beat up girlfriend (or boyfriend, whatever). That's wrong! Stop it!" Obviously, it's not your job to disprove my claim. It's my job to provide substantiating evidence. Since I have none, I withdraw my claim and apologize for besmirching your character. That's what rational people do.

I am so disappointed. Apparently between yesterday and today, I've been banned at LC - I can't even look at the board anymore.
The thing is, I don't know what I did. I've only posted twice - once to ask about the false $20 million budget for LC:FC as reported in Hustler, and then a thank you for a link to Avery's answer.
Oh, wait a minute JohnDoeX has just been farting around DU again, working up some Net traffic for his pilots website, and we started a brief little discussion. I guess that's what I get for asking him if he's the guy proving that Flight 77 didn't hit the Pentagon from the FDR info recovered from the Pentagon.
:wackycry:
Now I'll never do anything AT LCF to deserve getting banned. Who wants a crappy "Oo, I hate what you said to me at another forum, so WHAAAA!" banning?
Anyway. Welcome, Wartrac.

Did you post on LC with the same screen name? If so, they might be collecting the names of people who post here and banning them immediately over there.
I guess if you post here but you've never posted there yet you are pre-banned.

I do use the same screen name. I always use the same screen name. If my normal one isn't available, I use a number after my normal screen name.
I had posted here long before I went there and posted about the budget thing. I was very polite. Rob and I mixed it up a little at DU yesterday, and today I'm banned at LCF. What a fascist.

Even LIHOP would require a big conspiracy and a messy coverup, which would've been uncovered by now, and Bush & co. would be in prison now. I don't think even Bush is stupid enough to try something like LIHOP. (I don't think he's evil enough, either. But then, I don't think Hitler's evil enough to try LIHOP!)
What about the argument of incompetence; that they should've known better, and were negligent to the American people? I think there's about a 50% chance of that. But I'd need some really solid evidence. Because, security agencies are always getting flooded with false warnings. When an attack does occur, it's easy to go back and find the warning for it, and say, "Ah-hah! They KNEW it was gonna happen!" But at the time, they couldn't verify whether the danger was legit or not, and its just not possible to follow up every single lead you get.
And since there is a powerful political motivation to establish Bushco's complicity or negligence...

In an odd way seriously nationalistic dictator types are less likely to do a LIHOP. I could imagine Hitler sacrificing some fellow Germans to justify a war, but allowing FOREIGNERS to kill Germans to justify a war? That doesn't seem very likely.
I am trying to imagine Hilter allowing a bunch of inferior foreign scum to kill off hundreds of blonde-haired blue-eyed German workers, and I just can't see it.

Welcome Wartrac. JREF is rarified air.
Ex-Navy myself, 74-80, with 5 years active. Working man (enlisted).
Scoured your 2 posts for clues as to what branch of Service since you did not mention. Tough call. Saw no obvious giveaways.
-- Couldn't be Air Force because you'd know a bit about NORAD and therefore would discount a "stand down" as preposterous.
-- I don't think Marines, not getting a vibe there.
-- Not Coast Guard.
-- So it's Army or Navy. Well, I didn't see any clue whatsoever to indicate sea time, no salty language, no naval jargon. Of course that could just mean you were an officer.
-- I'm going to say Army, possibly stationed in Germany.
Go ahead, grade my paper, probably got an F+ or worse.
