Never piss-off the catering staff. Just don't. They are fiendish.

Never piss off the chef. Or it shall be returned to you in your soup.

Well, since eiπ is -1, and since the sum of all 1/2n for n=1 to infinity converges to +1, those two terms cancel out.
We are left, then, with 0.002.
What kind of a phone company keeps track of customer accounts in mils? :boggled:

OK, that's pretty funny. :D
Is there another link that explains how we know this was an engineer? Just curious....... :)

I think it is supposedly this guy:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randall_Munroe
Sorry, I have to try put the bits and peices of the joke together. Just think back like you heard it the first time and laugh, laugh, laugh. :)

Do you think it has something to do with the VerizonMath fiasco, where someone was quoted one thing and then charged another?
This is his blog (NOT Randall Munroe): http://verizonmath.blogspot.com/index.html
(and if you look at his latest entry, it seems Verizon is trying to stop the sale of his T-shirts!)

Well, yes it is! As it turns out it is his comment about the VerizonMath blog. This is his original page:
http://xkcd.com/verizon/
And his "blag" comment: http://blag.xkcd.com/2006/12/10/brazil-and-verizon/
He sells T-shirts (http://xkcd.com/store/), and it seems that "Science, it works bitches" is similar to the check he wrote to Verizon.

Banks always round up when it comes to your money.
Either that or 0.002 cents will be stolen by the computer program from Office Space.

Here is a funny Dilbert video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wplyCogv3to). It's engineer related. I love how Dilbert's Mom takes it.
