In a country where the son of a gambler, currently serving time in prison for the contract killing of federal judge John Wood, can set out alone with his own decent values and be rewarded with a mansion in Beverly Hills, smoking weed all he likes (though not legally, he still does it...), and how does he view the country that rewarded him?
Who cares. It's what you think of him that I'm asking.... I don't have to tell you my own view!

I think he sucks as an actor. He was definitely the weakest actor in "The Thin Red Line".
As for him giving home and herb to anyone, its none of my business. If you don't like it, call crimestoppers and tell them he has a meth lab in his house. Nothing like a drug raid to ruin your buzz.

I'm sorry, you'll have to. I thought he was OK in thin red line. Also the guy who blows himself up with his own grenade. Great film, although it left out some major themes of the novel.

I am sure you enjoyed his performances in classics like Money Train and the Farrely brothers' amish tale KingPin.

You'd have to leave your keyboard to watch a movie. Sometimes for as long as two hours. I think JK is just going off what he's heard about him on other bulletin boards.

I liked King Pin and White Men Can't Jump, (Probably one of JKs favourites).
When his girl friend comlains about the flat they live in at a dump called Beuna Vista "Well there aint no Beuna and there aint no Vista". It think it was some sort of industry in joke.

Okay, I'll quit pretending. I laughed through every raunchy scatological moment of King Pin. However, he still sucked in "Thin Red" and don't even get me started on "People vs. Larry Flynt".

I liked The Thin Red Line. That was a great movie. The Larry Flint movie was cool too.
Natural Born Killers was hilarious.

What did you think of the homo-erotic sub-text?

On and off. sometimes he's a great actor and sometimes i wonder if it's him or the way the role was written that sucked. I never gave a damn about one actors position on political matters and don't plan on starting now. I will say I doubt he's ever going to be oscar amterial in my opinion, but that doesn't mean he sucks.

This has told me far more about people in general than about him.
Acting was the last thing I could have meant. I was wondering what people think of him as a human being.
