Sylvia Brown is dug into her hole with many scurrying godly warriors to fight her battles. What if SB's fans start asking "Why not Sylvia? Take that awful godless man's money. You are a powerful spiritual leader with GOD powered gifts. Shame him and all those other condescending nonbelievers. Now is your chance!" Instead of a ranting little crazy man she'll have to contend with a cheering section. "You can do it!" Then SB's vague sidestepping avoidance techniques would be directed at her own flock. Delicious.

I think their need to believe outweighs their need to know.

She will find an excuse, ANY excuse, even invent some crazy s[rule-8]t that is a load of patent stinking lies, to sidestep such an occurrence. And they will buy it...

They can't be DOG powered - Bibble says people who do that S888 shoul be killed. I say, "Let he/she who is not psychic cast the first stone!!"

Logical Muse,

I have included your observation in my list of The Operative Laws of Psychic Science, to wit:

12) The Law of Blind Faith: A state of mind wherein people's need to believe in something outweigh's their need to know the truth. This is required for a person to become one of a psychic's faithful followers (Also known as Muse's Law).

Welcome to immortality! ;)
