Or rather female representations of traditional American values. It works on so many levels, doesn't it? Lindsey might have gotten it right for once. Have to think about this one...

Biblically Correct? Isn't that an oxymoron?

i was just going for the fact that, in my opinion, just about every one of those cartoons is moronic.

So, billiefan2000, what difference does it make to you whether two women or two men live together in a committed fashion? Isn't this country big enough for all sorts of different consenting adults to live whatever way they want?

What is the difference between doing the politically correct thing and simply doing the correct thing?
(I feel a new thread coming on...)

Yea Billie. As Gregor pointed out, Hal’s record on biblical correctness is not exactly stellar.
But we know that you don’t care for the finer points of an argument - like actual facts.
Look on the bright side here - you can now LEGALLY do all of those things that you really want to do w/ Teal Redman (assuming that you are female).
Ain’t America a wonderful place??

Wasn't obvious to me. I wondered where the gay bashing was at, since billiefan posted the link, and it took me ages to spot the tail. :D

Sheesh!

I don't know why I never thought of it but it is so perfect - it is almost prophetic. I plan to always spell it that way now.

Do you think Hal actually meant to say a "tail" of two wives, instead of "tale"?
The former "tail" - brings to mind "getting tail", which is extremely unchristian.
How many Freudian analysts does it take to change a lightbulb?
Two. One to screw the bulb and one to hold the penis...I MEAN LADDER!

This Hal Lindsey fellow sure draws some thought provoking cartoons.
I wonder how clever he will feel when he is devoured by Cthulhu.

I don't listen to Hal Lindsey. For one thing, the very same Bible that he preaches from states emphatically that if someone makes a prophecy and it does not come true, you're not to listen to that prophet ever again.
Since Hal ain't got it right yet, there's been little to listen to.
(Geez, and people wonder why we're considered woo-woos... )

Hal is throwing stones. Not politically correct under the rules of the Big Guy,Jr.
I'd like to paraphrase part of the Code of Alexandria, "TO do what is correct is difficult".
For many Christians the difficulty is loving and accepting. Billie obviously isn't a Pat Boone kind of Christian.

He's not any kind of a Christian, actually. But that's just my opinion.
This all gets back to the same damned and damnable nonsense we see from jokers like not only Falwell, but Don Wildmon and their ilk. It's funny: if a TV show is offensive, I can change the channel. That's going to do a hell of a lot more to get the crap off the airwaves than sending nasty mail to advertisers.
Loving and accepting is hard for anyone, Kittynh. No one belief has a lock on it, and no individual is ever going to find it easy. Consider that you do this without even being a Christian. In fact, I would consider, based on what you've said about yourself, that you are perhaps one of the most compassionate individuals I've ever encountered. The fact that you haven't subscribed to an established credo, or felt the need to makes you a rare individual already. Your kindness makes you even more rare. (For God's sake, how did you ever find yourself with your jerky ex? Oh, never mind... Pobody's nerfect.)
Go back and reread the Bible, and you realize, in spite of the Law, that we were supposed to be kind and generous to one another. We were supposed to offer support for those who had none. We were NOT supposed to be tearing one another apart. But, that's what Lindsey and his ilk do. The claim is that you must do great damage in order to do the greater good.
I would question that.
