This is my new(-ish) website about skepticism and critical thinking. As a new take on skepticism, this site also delves into myths about language.

There are heaps of articles available about everything from ghosts and psychics, to atheism and swearing.

This page (http://www.bad-language.com/popetart) is full of broken pics. I wanted to see the pope tart. :(

Great Site! You've got yourself a winner there. I particularly enjoyed your article on banning speech, you make some great points.

Keep it up, I've got it bookmarked.

Yay! That's an awesome site. Although I'm not entirely sure how it made it through the filter at work. More of the same please.

I thought I recogonized your photo - nice site you have there, my new myspace friend. Great content, and well written. A couple site layout nitpicks - your navigation isn't consistent from page to page. The nav on the "about me" page has the additional link to "STOLLZNOW CONSULTANCY," but loses the link to "FUN & FRIVOLITY." And your link to "Lost Collective Noun database" is broken.

Hurry up! Get it fixed! You have me hooked and I want to see the rest of that content!

Karen,

If a girl can't plug herself, who can she plug?

I can't believe you are an Aussie and you used an expression like that...lol.

BTW Great site.. you think EXACTLY like I do about that stuff

Thanks for visiting my site, the pleasant words and the techie tips. Yes, I'm a bad webmistress, a newbie to html.

The Popetart page is now fixed and I'll get onto those other errors.

Stay tuned for an upcoming interview with 'Sylvia Browne'!

btw - Aussie Thinker, I'm glad that I disgusted you. Speaking of plugs, did you know that there's a 'Coit Tower' in SF? Also, there's a KOIT radio station. TV ads show a woman defensive of anyone trying to change her station, and she says, "No one messes with my KOIT"!

I mean no offense, Karen - your site's content is interesting and has potential. But your site's design is weak, and the HTML is atrocious. That's mostly because it's been Generated by Microsoft WORD - a BIG no-no. Word generates crappy, messy, bloated HTML.

There are a lot of HTML tutorials all over the Internet to teach you (please, please don't use Word or Frontpage to generate your HTML - if you must use a WYSIWYG editor, use Dreamweaver at least), and you can find free, decent pre-made templates and/or simple content managers if you need.

Just my advice. Word sucks.

Yes, thanks Morrigan...I use IE so I wasn't initially aware of the problems. I'm very, very new to the game.

Great work Karen. So, there are some little HTML issues... so what? They are being fixed. Read the items and hear the mp3 files. BTW, Karen is a true blue Aussie living in the USA. Please send her Minties before the Bad Astronomer eats them all!
