Maybe "2" (okay, "3") isn't a large enough sample size?

Type "christian magician" into Google.

Absolutely, but let's not forget the original post asked a question rather than constructed an argument. I think INRM is attempting to expand his sample size rather than hold up the one he offers.

Can anyone name any religious magicians?

"Gospel Magic" is an established genre. (that doesn't mean anything, I know)

It's kind of weird hearing about, for example, how to use fire in the act to "get the message across".

I know that there must be Christian magicians, because my magic store also has a section of'Gospel Magic.'

As for Siegfreid and Roy and doubt that they are believers.

I've met atheist magicians, Buddhist magicians, low-key Christian magicians, militant Christian magicians, Jewish magicians, never-really-gave-religion-much-thought magicians... overall they seem about as diverse in their religious beliefs (or lack thereof) as the rest of the population.

Its perfectly fine for a magician to be of any religious background... just as long as they dont refer to their tricks as "miracles" (Any Blainetologists out there?).

One of my high school theology teachers was an accomplished magician. He hired himself out for parties, etc... I went to a Catholic High school and I'm pretty sure they didn't hire atheists as a matter of course...Although I admit I never asked him the direct question.

I had a Jewish math teacher at my Jesuit high school. I'm not sure what their criteria were.
