Teacher promoting conspiracies investigated (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/1/story.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10424528) (New Zealand Herald - will only be available for free for a week from today.)
I wasn't aware of how bad the nuttiness had got here in NZ, if a teacher has been sucked in by it. The arguments of the CTers are normally simlpy not reported in the mainstream media here. Then again, when you get an over-exposure to the nuttiness being perpetrated by the CTer's posting just in this sub-forum, your perspective can get distorted a bit, I suppose. <insert twitchy smiley>

I think those at Prison Planet read JREF, i've seen stuff said on here and appear on here before it does on PP.
Odds are this will be on their site soon.

Dear New Zealand,
Tell you what. Send me a case of Trinity Hill Syrah (http://www.trinityhill.com/index.cfm/Our_Wines/Reviews___Awards/Gimblett_Gravels/2004_Syrah) and a pet weka (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weka), and we'll call it even.

Dear New Zealand,
Don't worry, we cut you a lot of slack for producing Peter Jackson.

They certainly come up with some funny stuff down there!
That's one of the advantages of living in a nation where very little happens. I remember how the number two story on the news one night was that a kid was attacked and punched on the streets of Auckland. Not stabbed, not shot, not hospitalized, just punched. Number two story on the news. Nationwide.
Wouldn't get a mention in an American paper.
Number One was Tuku Morgan, the politician, and his big scandal. He paid $95NZ for a pair of boxer shorts. That was a big scandal.
As for the teacher...she says Neil Armstrong is a fictional character. She should be punished by having to work as a maid in the Armstrong house. Certainly she should never be allowed to teach again.
I'm glad the New Zealand authorities are putting a butterfly net around this nutter.

is that not Fetzer with a wig?
That is Fetzer's mother and his sister. It was a very close family.
That paper seems to do a good job reporting instead of feeding junk ideas to make ratings like most other sources.
