This past week when the Hillary/Obama dust up over Geffen, the speculative part of my mind said "and so, Hillary's camp pulls Obama in and shows he's not above the fray". Of course, there is no way to prove this. However, listening to the Sunday shows today it is apparent I was not the only one to think this.

Hillary is the front runner. She is the heir apparent. She has the capital to get into a scuffle and come out unscathed. I am not so sure that Obama's Mr. Clean persona can take this kind of thing and I am surprised he got played so easily.

For the thinking Dems it has already hurt Hilary - she should never have loosed her dog - and if he loosed himself she should throw him out. Geffen is independant - and it would be idiocy of Obama to shut himself off from those potential funds just because their said something mean about Hilary. Dems need to keep it together and get those slime-molds (I am being nice here) out. Hopefully forever.

I don't know if it is your spelling errors, or that expression I never heard of (loosed herself?) but are the "slime-molds" Obama and Edwards, or Giuliani and McCain, or what? Bush can't run again, etc. and basically what are you saying?

I'm not seeing that at all. At this point, I don't think she has anywhere to go but down.
