I can't believe this local story (http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/story/3894578p-4504125c.html):

Judy Mayer, a 56-year-old night manager at the Royal George in Transcona, bought her winning ticket based on numbers suggested by Katarina, a psychic reader she visited a year and a half ago.

Yet...

But Mayer, a regular ticket-buyer, tweaked the advice given by the psychic for her most recent lottery purchase, changing one number from 45 to 46. And that turned out to be the deciding factor. (bolding mine)

:jaw-dropp Aaarggghh! She changed the number. Her luck was all her own!

As a psychic, I can already foretell that this lady will be broke in about four years but her tarot card reader certainly won't be.

Funny this psychic can't win the lottery for herself.

I hope not, for her sake....she won $6.8 million Cdn. Tax Free.

sigh.....

p.s. I wonder how much she's going to give the reader?

Funny this psychic can't win the lottery for herself.Come on! Everybody knows that psychic powers can't be used for personal gain! They don't work unless the motives of the psychic remain pure. The only reason they charge people for their "readings" is to cover the bare essentials in terms of expenses. For example, do you really think Sylvia Browne could get by on anything less than $1,500/hour for phone readings?

Lol!

I've always loved it when the defenders of these people say that the reason they charge so much money is that if they didn't, they'd be swamped on all sides by clients wanting to know this and that.

Yeah, so the 1500/ hour is actually practically free! It's a gift! She's doing you a privilege by even selling it to you!
