It'd be nice if it had some links to atheist sites, some summary of the most common arguments, etc. As is, it's funny, but unfounded assertions never convinced anyone.

It is kind of a parody (that makes much more sense than what it parodies) of "Gawd sed it, I bulleev it, that setuls et!"

True enough. Awesome phonetic spelling :D. I know exactly what that sounded like.

Gah, that never occured to me :o. Well, here's hoping some believers find this site and go "Oh, I see. Well, that solves that."

Unfounded assertions? Perhaps you missed the fine print on the FAQ. If you believe there are any errors or inaccuracies, please contact them where your evidence will be subject to rigorous scientific scrutiny and, if substantiated, included in a future update.

I'm not saying it isn't almost certainly true, just that it's unlikely to convince many people.

The purpose was to convince?
BillyJoe

It may not convince believers that God does not exist, but perhaps the
idea is to convince them that belief in God is not a scientific proposition.

I think that's setting the bar a little high for that site.

Yeah, that's my thought.
I thought the point was to make people of a similar mindset laugh.

Which is, of course, the point of the fine print. That page is an accurate statement about God, as accurate as humanity can produce at this time.
Anybody who feels otherwise has, in fact, been unable to come up with anything that demonstrates anything wrong with the FAQ.

Prediction:
This entire thread will devolve into an argument over whether it was a joke or not, proving that we well and truly have absolutely nothing better to do with our lives.
You heard it here first, folks.
