Anyone know anything about the Jerry Andrus documentary that was being filmed at TAM5? I'd love to see it when it comes out, or whatever.

Apparently he's in bad health at the moment,which doesn't amswer your question I know.

I saw this at The Magic Cafe forums. He was suposed to be the Guest of Honor this month but can not do it. They asked for suggestions for someone to take his place, and I suggested that they should contact Mr. Randi.
I also sent an e-mail to Mr. Randi about this. I'm sure Randi can spark some interesting disscusions over there.

That's where I read it JPK.

With the amount of "psychics" over there Randi would be funny as a guest.

Add that to the fact that Steve Brooks - Magic Cafe Manager - is something of a holy roller, it could be a riot.

It has been reported by Genii magazine that Jerry Andrus has terminal cancer.

I sent Jerry a snail mail letter telling him how much I've enjoyed seeing him at all the TAMs I attended.

Might not be a bad idea if anyone else would like to do so.

Most of the filming for the documentary about Jerry has been completed and we are now in the process of editing the film. You can monitor the progress of the production at our web site: skepticalmedia.com

Jerry's health has recently taken a serious decline due to cancer. However, he remains (as always) optimistic and upbeat. He is receiving attentive care from his fellow skeptics, magicians and fans who live nearby in Albany, OR. He certainly would appreciate hearing from friends and fans if you drop him a line.
