SANDERS PREVAILS: A judge ruled in favor of Deion Sanders in a lawsuit over repairs made to his 1961 convertible, saying the former Cowboy paid the full amount he had authorized for the work.

The owner of the repair shop had sued Sanders, saying the former football player wanted to pay only $1,500 of the $4,265.57 bill.
...
In his March 2002 lawsuit, Compton claimed that he and his mechanics were given approval for the work. But when they delivered the car to Sanders' Plano, Texas, home Nov. 5, 2001, Compton's lawsuit says, Sanders gave him a check for $1,500, said "Praise Jesus," and walked off.

Compton told reporters that Sanders claimed Jesus told him all he needed to pay was $1,500.
Jesus for all your auto repair quotes - he's good, *and* cheap.

The least those car mechanics could have done was do shoddy repair on the car... he should get what pays for...
