View Full Version : The PentaCon's Success

A new poll at LCF reveals that 67.5% of those polled (27/40) believe that the plane flew south of the Citgo and hit the Pentagon. Twenty percent (8/40) believe the PentaCon's conclusions. 3/40 belive the plane flew north of the Citgo and hit the Pentagon (!?). And 2 believe "other."
So what has the film accomplished?
By forcing the LCers to acknowledge the presence of a plane that day, whether on the north or south side of the Citgo, the PentaCon has single-handedly wiped out all thoughts about Global Hawks, missiles, and other assorted nonsense.
Bravo, Lyte and Merc! You have certainly converted the masses to the truth!

Yeah, he popped onto my radar screen earlier today, but I hadn't see the Captain Sherlock site before. He's suing Northwest (http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/2007/03/another-reason-not-to-fly-northwest.html) for retirement on the basis that Boeing has installed secret bombs that can blow up their planes if needed.

Will JDX call him, tape him, and join him up? Will the latest nut case add to JDX's expert list? Bob Bowman will have more company at his level of insanity.
Are LCF loyalist able to see extra stupid nuts? Or are secret non truthers over at LCF? (both?)

And unfortunately it is let down by its woeful production values. The only true thing Lyte Trip ever said was that he was no professional.

True.
But, when you remember that this is about a real event, where real people died, the humor evaporates.

The PentaCon video has become so popular on LCF that some other woowoo posted whining that there were too many PentaCon threads and not enough threads discussing his own pet theory, and then Merc started gloating that people care more about his awesome PentaCon than whatever the other guy was on about. Now there's a way to prove the validity of your claims.
edit: I can't seem to find the post I'm discussing above, but a look through the LCF Pentagon subforum (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showforum=12) does show an endless pile of PentaCon threads. I think it might be more popular than Do-Over Dylan's collections of shirtless Bermas videos now.

Holy crow, the Pentagon-theory war (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=4662) between Merc and Pickering is hilarious. I'd like to see a tag-team rasslin' match pitting Merc and Haupt against Pickering and Jamieson.

"Citizen Merc" is doing the standard CT strategy:
The question is - do you believe I am a government agent and was involved in the alteration and release of the Citgo video to sabatoge your work?
Yes or no?
You behavior and actions indicate to me this is a possibility.
But I do not know for sure one way or the other.
"Just asking questions"... Never actually say anything that would force you to stand by your allegations...
Cowards.
EDIT: Oh, and its now 78.67% (59 votes) for South of Citgo/Hit Pentagon
Oh, and Lyte apparently think LC is Jref2 (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=4618):
A poll on this forum teaming with Russell's jref minions is worthless.

Its a runaway now..
It flew North of the Citgo and over the Pentagon (100% behind The PentaCon) [ 9 ] [12.00%]
It flew South of the Citgo and hit the Pentagon (0% behind TPC) [ 59 ] [78.67%]
It flew North of the Citgo and hit the Pentagon (50% behind TPC) [ 4 ] [5.33%]
It flew South of the Citgo and over the Pentagon (50% behind TPC) [ 0 ] [0.00%]
None of these options/I don't know [ 3 ] [4.00%]
Lyte's response?
No it means this board is teaming with jref'ers.
....
Don't hide behind this anonymous poll that was infiltrated by jref'ers.
Merc's response?
Total operation here huh?
PM all your other Jref buddies and tell them to tell one person huh?.

Dear Merc and Lyte:
Forget JREF. Better yet, why not show us doubters (wherever we may roam) of the superiority of your, what was it, 100% irrefutable* evidence? Do what you said you were going to: assault the barricades of the major media outlets as well as law enforcement agencies with your findings.
Or I guess you could go on for years and years just bleating in your barnyard pen.
*Or whatever similar boast was issued over and over in the months preceeding your release.

One thing I havent quiet understood, what is the significance of the two different paths (north/south CITGO)?

Supposedly, if the plane flew south of the Citgo, the path of damage inside the Pentagon would be different from what is observed (different approach angle). North of the Citgo supposedly proves that the observed damage was caused by preplanted explosives, not by a plane impact.
Or something. Reading that stuff makes my brain hurt.

Not the damage inside the pentagon, rather the light poles and taxi cab which were damage outside along the flight path.
Their claim seems to be that if the plane flew north of the citgo then it couldn't have damaged the poles / cab . . . and therefore that damage was planted / staged somehow. I still can't figure out how exactly that translates into the plane flying over instead of hitting.

Ahhhh... I actually hadn't heard about the pre-planted explosives stuff, I thought they were going for a "missile-attack" scenario. Would the approach angle really differ so much it would make significant difference when it comes to damage to the building?

You're right, Minadin, but I think they claim both (hence their use of the damage plot inside the Pentagon on their homepage).
Either way, it's nonsense.

Oh, and this thread got me browsing both LCF and PFTF and I found this (http://z9.invisionfree.com/Pilots_For_Truth/index.php?showtopic=4641)thread from feb, 10:
So let's see, we've got the Citgo Video, Doubletree video, Mike Walters response, new Lloyd interview.
Interesting timing.
Is Merc implying that The Great Conspiracy is planting more false witnesses and evidence in reply to the ever-growing force of the Truther-movement? (Oh, and the article he is referring to was from sept, 12 last year. Not that "new")
Cheers,

What I love about this is that now the majority of the respondents on the board believe that a plane hit the Pentagon.* Perhaps Lyte and Merc are COINTELPRO?
* - Obviously this isn't a scientific poll so we don't know who's responding. But still...

I still can't figure out how exactly that translates into the plane flying over instead of hitting.Actually, they're saying both. If the plane flew North of the Citgo, then there's no way it could have damaged the light poles, so they had to have been staged. And if the plane came from that direction instead of the more southerly one, the interior pattern of damage in the Pentagon could not have happened, because all the damage points back at where the light poles are. Therefore, the plane did not hit the Pentagon, therefore it flew over.

It flew North of the Citgo and over the Pentagon (100% behind The PentaCon) [9 votes] [10.23%]
It flew South of the Citgo and hit the Pentagon (0% behind TPC) [70 votes] [79.55%]

It flew South of the Citgo and over the Pentagon (50% behind TPC) [1 vote] [1.14%]
None of these options/I don't know [4 votes] [4.55%]
Total Votes: 88

Another thread that's ran it's course. Locked.

Merc and Lyte can whine all they want, but the fact that they could not garner the support of more than 7 troofers to their cause on a troofer forum is very, very telling. (They got 9 votes but obviously at least 2 of those votes were their own.)
One would think that they would get the picture - which is that not even the vast majority of troofers believe their ridiculous theories or are persuaded by their crappy little video.
