It seems that the CT forum has become extremely popular here at JREF. But it also seems to contain a vast number of threads that are a waste of time. Is it just that CTers are often Net-savvy and find us? Is it that large portions of what is non-logical in this world (at this time in history) are CTs?

I'm only here for the huge government shill paychecks I'm supposed to be getting.
Somehow they never arrive. So I guess you are right, I'm wasting my time.

I don't know how much useful there is to be found on any web forum. I have learned a lot about engineering and aeronautics and architecture in this forum.
Nothing that would earn me a degree, but I don't expect to get a philosophy degree from the religion and philosophy forum either.

I think it's important to address the nonsense with logic and evidence. While it might not help the rabid CTers see the error of their ways, at least it provides a place where people who hear about the nonsense can see a) proper arguments formed exposing the "facts" of conspiracy theorists as supposition and b) conspiracy theorists for what they really are - paranoids in denial of the true facts.
I've known many people through the years who, while not true CTers, could easily be swayed by things like Loose Change. Heck, I remember when JFK (the Oliver Stone movie) came out and people jumped all over that like it was laying out actual evidence - I myself thought the movie was brilliant and well done but that Oliver Stone and Jim Garrison were bat**** crazy, despite not having spent lots of time learning about the conspiracy theories formed about the assassination. Anyway, those kinds of people can find their way here (or to the many other websites "debunking" conspiracy theories) and find the facts. That's "a good thing."

That may be because it's the most popular/newest woo on the net these days, so we get more of the casual-woo types. Other woo topics only get discussed by the hard core woo, so they are more focussed.

You should talk to NWO Payroll. My shill checks arrive the first of every month like clockwork.

That's it Phantom Wolf, now you made me cry. I hope you're happy.
So what's with all the "Come to New Zealand" ads we've been getting on the TV lately? It must be a trap! Don't go Aussies! All that talk of a carefree lifestyle in sophisticated cosmopolitan Wellington is just a ruse to take us off guard. They want to enslave us and make us "shear" their sheep. I blame the Ewes.

heh, not likely, you guys sux at shearing, haven't you noticed that all the good shearers over there are ex-pat Kiwis. ;)
Actually haven't heard about the adds, but I bet they are less contraversial than the "Where the bloody hell are you" Aussie ones.

The CTist's/Truthers have enough time to create conspiracy websites that showcase thier lies. And most likely the CTist's are also the one's who check their own feces for fiber seeing as they have so much time on their hands to spread false accuasations.
