There is an update on the release date of Loose Change Final Cut. Latest news is, the film is released late summer 2007.
"This week Dark Matter (http://www.myspace.com/darkmatter) is pleased to welcome the makers of Loose Change into the studio. Director Dylan Avery and Producers Korey Rowe and Jason Bermas will join me for a discussion of the film, its impact, and the upcoming theatrical release of the film Loose Change: Final Cut slated for late summer 2007."

I guess that was the soonest the Bijou in Oneonta was available for rental.
ETA: Seriously, Dylan's just trying to buy himself another few months on the gravy train. Supposedly this was going to be ready for the fifth anniversary. Now, it looks like it'll be lucky to be ready for the sixth. Meanwhile, Dylan's devotees are wandering off to find other Internet nonsense to believe in.

Oh, you know how these things are. A hitch in the distribution deal here, a problem with post-production there, and before you know it a whole year has just flown by.
I predict that "something will come up" which will cause LC:The Unkindest Cut Of All to not be ready for the sixth anniversary.
Randi can PM me for the address to send the million to on 9/12/07.

The 'Dark Matter' link in Dylans post links to a MySpace page! I think Dylan means this:
http://karmaair.com/show/7
which is a show that seems to promote assorted kookery.

I don't think this needs any explanation. In fact, I don't think this HAS any explanation.
This is the level of media coverage that LC has sunk to?

I noticed the same. Little surprise there, when opening the link.

For L.C. F.C. to be factually accurate they'd have to strip the film down so much that there would just be the opening credits and the end sequence left.

That's what I hinted to Dylan before he banned me :)

And their trip to Hollywood had what result? ("F*** off and don't come back!" springs to mind...)

I can't wait. I've been waiting for this movie since I saw the very first version of Loose Change more than a year ago.

If it's truth you're waiting for, id reserve yourself to the fact that Sylvia Browne, using her psychic abilities, will take and win the Million Dollar Challenge long before Avery and Co deliver da twoof.

I have a feeling that LCFC will be a watered-down JAQ-off fest.
In the BBC doc, Dylan said something to the effect that possibly the government was criminally neglegent - less than LIHOP!

Avery's teasing us. There's something so, well, final about something called Final Cut. He knows why it's final (hell, he better). I mean this coulda been called:
Loose Change - The Saga Continues
Loose Change - Just One More Thing
Loose Change - Faces In Tower Smoke Seen On Mars
But no. It really is FINAL. That means whatever is to be revealed is so devastatingly profound that nothing about 9/11 need more be said, ever.
Oh my God. :boxedin:

Wait up, "Dark Matter"?
I thought this was supposed to be some super-dooper amazing movie that would be done by Paramount or Universal... according to Dylan anyway.
Think about it guys - there is a large portion of people out there who struck at Michael Moore after FH9/11 - and his claims weren't as extreme as those made by LC. If LC gets a theater release - the reaction by people who disagree will be large and it will be heard. Dylan is digging his own grave with this one.

And we can have the jury and everything, and the government will be overturned, and all the terrorists can be released... we just gotta fix some CGI first...

Dark Matter with Michael Parker is your guide to the paranormal, the metaphysical, the extraterrestrial, the conspiratorial, and sometimes the utterly absurd.
I wonder if he considers LCFC "conspiratorial" or "utterly absurd"?

I know this is VERY unlikely but.
What if.
Dylan through the advice of his investor backers was compelled to make a more credible "documentary" and actually switched sides? Would that be a shock? would it do slightly better at the box office and hence a better return on investment from his backers?

More high praise for LC.
Well, I have seen it, and I concede that it is a much slicker, more professional product than other 9/11 conspiracy films, and therefore more seductive. But the argument is pure paranoid fantasy, and it is rotting people’s brains
In normal times, you wouldn’t waste breath arguing with people who fall for this kind of rubbish, but the makers of Loose Change claim that their film has already been seen by over 100 million people, and looking at my e-mail in-tray I believe them. It is a real problem, because by linking their fantasies about 9/11 to the Bush administration’s deliberate deception of the American people in order to gain support for the invasion of Iraq, they bring discredit on the truth and the nonsense alike.
