New Scientist has an online article stating researchers at University of Minnesota have used the same data , relabelled, to support different findings in different publications. Investigations in 2006 found the relabelling to be a mistake, but it appears to be a mistake that has happened more than once.

The data relate to "multipotent adult progenitor cells" - adult stem cells claimed to be potential substitutes for embryo stem cells.

If true, pull all the b*****s degrees and kick their butts out - because that sounds extremely like propping up Bush and the fundaments "theories" that fetal stem cells aren't really needed - to get gov't grants.
