View Full Version : McCain Campaign Embarrassed by Hotlinks on MySpace Page

The John McCain MySpace page suddenly began displaying a new message detailing his support for gay marriages (http://www.towleroad.com/2007/03/john_mccains_my.html) involving hot babes today.

His MySpace page had not been hacked, instead the person that implemented the page (obviously the Senator did not) used a template for the page and failed to honor the template designer's request to use your own images and give him credit.

The page was hotlinked to a graphic image file on the designer's site, despite the specific request to not do so, and the designer of the template was not given credit as he had requested. So McCain's page was stealing the guy's work, and by hotlinking to his image file(s) it was also stealing his bandwidth.

The folks at Newsvine, creators of the template, responded by making some changes in an image that was being stolen by the Senator.

Ha ha. Go back to Arizona John, it's a great place to retire.

Wow, that's quite a bad color scheme.

Could of been worse, if he was really upset he could have put a pic of tubgirl on instead. "Tubgirl for McCain in '08".

Might have gotten Senator McCain a few more votes among the internet crowd . . .
