Did you notice in the Popular mechanics piece on Rosie, they cropped off the top of the mushroom cloud? Why do you suppose they did that?

Because they are out to get you, personally. You've made the biggest physics breakthrough in decades, and the evil publishing corporation doesn't want you to get away with it. It couldn't have anything to do with cropping a photo to fit an article, that'd be crazy!

Because WTC7 is the main point of the photograph, and not the "mushroom cloud".

Because they don't like you and find it fun to give you another crazy notion to play with!. Cool by me.:D

I just spent a few minutes scanning the comments. What a sad lot the truthers are. Every single easily debunked "fact" is dragged out over and over again. Is this like a belief in a religion -- no intersection with reality?
Two large planes, loaded with fuel, smashed through the walls of the buildings weakening their structure. Resulting fires, fed by the aircraft fuel and a lot of other flamable material, weaked the steel structure and the buildings collapsed (looking nothing like any "controlled demolition" in the history of the World).
The third building was hit by a large amount of debris from one of the collapsing buildings and, after burning for some while, collapsed for the same reason.
Any further questions?

It's because they do like him, and want him to have some new "evidence" of a cover-up.
Seriously, when was the last time you heard this much about Pop. Mech. in the regular press? They're making serious mint off the twoofers! They love these guys! The crazier the better!

The debris cloud NEVER went up like a mushroom cloud. It also did not glow like a mushroom cloud. Making more statements without evidence to support them doesn't lend you any credibility.
In any video you see the debris say about as low as the buildings were high. They never went higher. You will find some cameras panning down to follow the collapse down which make it seem like the debris cloud goes up. Looking at landmarks around the building as it collapses will tell you this.
Where do you expect the mass of a debris cloud to be during a top down collapse. At the bottom? Absurd! Heh!

Nukes do the following.
1) Big bright, white, blinding flash
2) Temperature increase instantly for miles, everything gets hot
3) Fires start miles away from the blast
4) Sends out a massive shock wave
5) Mushroom cloud (fireball) rises from the blast point
6) Fireball turns into massive ball of smoke
7) Radioactive fallout starts to disperse
Ok, now let's see what happened on 9/11...
1) No.
2) No.
3) No.
4) No.
5) No.
6) No.
7) No.

I have no problem with the latter part of that sentence, but those two words I bolded seem to be off. I don't think I've ever seen "Ace" and "learns" used in the same sentence before.

Can you guess which word you shouldn't have said?
It was a trick question. You shouldn't have said any of the words because you promised not to return to this forum until I apoligized. I have not, do not, and never will apologize to you. I reassert each and every one of my statements to you as though fully set forth herein. You are as dishonest in your statements as you are in your "analysis." Go put your talents to some use and write a tribute song to Rosie O'Donnell that she can sing in the revival of Seusical: "I believe amazing things/based on zero understanding/my government is oh so mean/Now I worship Charlie Sheen."

I thought I might actually answer this rather than dismiss it with every ounce of sarcasm it deserves. Which is a lot.
When people write articles on the web they have limited real estate. A reader's screen is but so wide and so things are cut and sized to get the maximum amount of relevant information across in the minimum available space. Since WTC7 is the focus of this article, they've put it at the top and centered it in a resized image that clearly shows an event which the readership is almost assuredly aware of.
Your implication that there is something relevant that contradicts the article in the removed area of photograph is baseless unless you can support it with something tangible. Given the vast number of images (still and video) available from 11 September 2001, you are welcome to produce some sort of rebuttal picture and comment on it. Given your trollish and vacuous posting history, though, I'm not expecting any.

There is a problem with Popular Mechanics' claim that damage to one corner of the building is what brought the building down. Had that been the case, the building should have tipped over towards the damage, much as a tree falls towards the wedge cut.
If you consider the central supports of the building as a fulcrum, then the loss of support at one corder would actually reduce the load on the columns on the opposite corner as the building swayed towards the damage. Therefore they should have been LESS likely to collapse.
