According to this (http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=765&u=/nm/20030729/people_nm/media_hope_dc&printer=1) Yahoo news article, the New York Times has run an obituary for Bob Hope, but the writer had died in 2000!!
Maybe he should get the Randi million posthumously?

Wasn't there once an accidental release of a pre-written obituary of Bob Hope, but before he died? It may have been in 2000, come to think of it.
It would be kind of funny if this were the same obituary.

It probably is the same obituary.
Maybe the writer had a precognitive attack and didn't realize it?

Major press outlets keep files of obituaries for famous figures ready to go. I presume the one for Mr. Hope has not been updated in a couple years. No big deal.
