View Full Version : Conspiracy talk on Toronto radio

This weekend I e-mailed Toronto talk-show host John Moore with some 9/11 videos.

One was the Roberts-LC boys debate and the other was the hilarious Rudy Wood interview.

Apparently Moore has decided that 9/11 truth is a "mental illness" and will have a segment on it next hour.

Should make for some funny radio when the twoofers call in.

Starts at 3:10. Live stream: www.cfrb.com (http://www.cfrb.com)

In 2 minutes. I'm in physiology class, so I can't listen.
Anyone care to record?

He's not doing the 9/11 segment off the top.

3:30 or 4:00 probably.

Listening in right now:

Please people, don't revel in your own ignorance. If you are going to condemn something, at least understand it.

He was responding to some muppet who said that neither evolution nor creationism should be taught in schools, and who didn't believe that we came from apes.

I like this guy.

His critique of ID vs evolution is dead-on. I'm always amazed at the similarity of the arguments between IDers and CTers.

OMG, they just had a guy on there saying math proves the existance of Jesus Christ, and then went on about proving it through "bubbles" or some such shaite...

These guys could actually compete with truthers for the "rediculous beyond belief" awards.

Looks like he might not cover it after all

Although he often saves topics like da twoof for 5pm

Another hit piece for the truth movement. It seems like the Torontonians are in on the conspiracy!

So I've listened this whole show and front to back, on all topics, and I think its safe to say this guy "gets it" -- you know.. the whole critical thinking thing. He's said very little I disagree.

This does show how much the internet helps these people. It's much easier for them to seem sane when they are producing webpages and writing text. Just listening to them makes it obvious they are mentally ill.

Hmmm....John screwed up on the physics911 $1 million challenge. It argues against the official story.

The problem is that it's a "prove a negative" challenge, if I recall correctly.

His critique of ID vs evolution is dead-on. I'm always amazed at the similarity of the arguments between IDers and CTers.

ID is an evolutionists friend. It proves god can't exist. God is infinitely more complex than anything in the universe. It would have to be. It not only KNOWS everything in the universe but knows how to use it in complex ways. The answer creationists give to this is that God was always there. Why is something so complex always there? No answer...

Not only is it "prove a negative" but it is also put out by a site very few people have heard of.

Cant wait for the nutters to come on. They get wind of this, they'll be there.

A load of bollocks indeed.

Show's over.

Good shredding of da twoofers.

I love what happened to that WTC7 caller who wasn't allowed to JAQ off. Twoofers sure hate having to offer answers, don't they?

I also liked Moore's description of Mark Roberts..."a guy who's read everything there is to read about 9/11.....took the Loose Change boys apart."

Is this challenge through http://physics911.net/ ? If so, they're not making much effort to advertise it. Does anyone have a link to this challenge? I'd like to see the details. I've got a sick cat, so I could use a million bucks!

Some insight into who is behind this:

Note: that the point of this challenge is to show that the terrorist administration of George Bush control of the NIST's contention of how the buildings fell is totally ludicrous. We continue to update this page with more facts as Professor Jones, Morgan Reynolds, Nico Haupt, Jim Fetzer, Rosalee Grable, Gerard Holgram, and others point out more and more holes in the official"bull...."

For crying out loud, NO-PLANERS?

They even feel the need to claim that you can prove a negative. You'd think they'd stop and ask themselves if that's a realistic challenge!

I'd like to sit every one of the Truthers down and force them to listen to this morning's Opie and Anthony show. None of that "tricky science" they think is part of the conspiracy, just a simple explanation from a guy who's worked in building demolition on what it really takes to perform a "controlled demolition." Then discussion on the way ANYTHING that disproves even the most suspect "evidence" they present becomes part of the conspiracy, and of course the silliness of bringing down Building 7 for no reason at all.

And for those wondering, they were talking about it so they could bash Rosie. :D

Great, they challenge us to try and explain all their erroneous observations, and then the links to the videos you're supposed to explain don't work!

And I'm supposed to just believe they have a million bucks?

All explanations, in all parts of this contest must be supported with detailed drawings for all significant events. Particularly, explain and document with drawings and engineering the following video clips: ... 10) In the this video the fireman describes how was EVERYTHING reduced to dust, everything. Not even standard controlled demolitions do that as building 7 showed. No building collapse has ever done that. Explain and document.

And how are we to "explain" some guy's off hand comments? Do they really think his remarks are perfectly accurate descriptions of what was there? This isn't even science, it's folk history. Would they accept another interview with this guy where he clarifies what he was talking about?

Darn, I missed the show. I tried to get to the link to "listen live" at work at around 1600 but kept getting an error message that the page wouldn't load. May be a firewall or something at work, though.

Do they archive their shows at this station?
