View Full Version : Looks like Killtown is going to need a new playground

The "No Plane Theory" has been officially banned at the Loose With the Truth Forum.
http://z10.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=6753
<snip>Loose Change Forum is from now on taking a NO TOLERANCE POLICY on "No Planes At WTC"
From this post forward, anyone seen promoting that theory ... first offense, 7 day suspension. Second offense, banning.
This is our forum, and we refuse to allow our reputation to be tarnished any further.
It appears that Killtown already got himself suspended for a week, as a result:
Dylan, you fell for the oldest trick in the book.
You are now suspended for 7 days.
Start being a responsible person and researcher.
Next up for the Heavy Hammer of Twoof is the "Alternate Theories" forum.
http://z10.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_Forum/index.php?showtopic=6756
In light of us banning NPT from our forum, since the Alt. Theories forum is essentially a giant ad for NPT...
What say you all?
The vote is currently 58-17 in favour of trashing the Alternative Theories forum as well.
Too bad, really.

About time, thanks Dylan!!
Also, can we do something about the following ideas that people are constantly posting to make us look like paranoid nutcases:
-Stuff about thermite
-Stuff about controlled demolition
-Stuff about star wars beams
-Stuff about missiles hitting the pentagon (I guess that falls under "no plane theories too..)
-Stuff about massive stock trading/insider info coverups
-Stuff about celebrities with no scientific authority who happen to agree with us.
-Stuff about the government being involved, or at least knowing ahead of time and refusing to act.
-Any other "theories" that make us look like raving lunatics who have nothing better to do than post from our parents basements.
Looking forward to the lounge being "normal.."

I've always wanted them to describe for us what they think actually happened, but none of them has ever done that. Are we approaching that by process of elimination? Maybe in about 600 more years we can get them narrowed down to a single narrative of how they think the day went.

Never happen. The go-to move for these people when backed into a corner is this: "We don't know what happened. That's why we need a new investigation!" They'll keep repeating that indefinitely, no matter how many investigations demonstrate that all of their theories are bunk. Just look at the die-hard JFK conspiracy theorists for a guide.

Coming from a guy whose careful "research" led him to claim that a B-52 hit the Empire State Building. It all makes me wish we had some sort of ray-gun that we could zap Dylan with to make him appreciate the irony of his comments. Someone I know likes to say that the things we most hate about others are the same things we secretly hate about ourselves.

With LCFC coming out he wants to clean up the forums so they don't look too nutty to maximize revenue. Once the publicity ramps up they will have more and more people heading to the forums including the press and critics. Also not to mention that he wants the "research" focused on non-fringe things so his work is done for him.
That's what the LC forums are for......it allows other people to do his research for him and not have to cut anyone else in. Not to mention us skeptics that give him insight into what to cut out of the film. As much as I know LC is garbage, I give Avery some credit regarding money making. I mean CTers are more devoted than Star Wars fans.
I wonder where KT is going to land. We need are monthly Stundies from him..........

Quest must be Dylan's uncle or something. He's a top contender for being the LCF member who puts Dylan & crew in the worst light, and yet he's been a mod from the beginning and has never been called out for his off-the-charts nuttiness.
Will Dylan have the guts to finally put his foot down and ban him?

I love the way he clings to the bone that Dylan threw him:
Did you happen to catch Dylan's post?
"While I feel the 2nd plane has its problems...."
If you want to make a case that some theories may not be best to discuss in public, whether there is truth to them or not, I might actually buy that, but it doesn't change the fact that MANY question the 2nd tower strike.

Actually, he was made a mod only very recently. When I was there refuting The Pentacon and posting under the name dr.awkward, Quest was not a mod. I was also posting factual information on contrails/chemtrails, not making fun of them, but simply posting information that should make anyone realize that normal contrails can be persistent.
Anyway, I was banned without warning, and the day I was banned was also the day Quest became a mod again.

Quest is probably worse than Killtown, while killtown just ignored my challenges and continued posting his rubbish, Quest is arrogant enough to think that because I have posted three paragraphs containing references to the evidence that proves the plane hit, I have 'given up' on the debate.
He wants some kind of existential proof that doesn't exist, a certified letter from God stating that the planes hit, but then of course he'd debunk god with advanced physics like "are you stupid are you telling me thin aluminium can slice through steel" (paraphrased).
Still, I'm glad the No Planers have been banned, if Dylan takes the attitude that only hypotheses supported by decent facts are allowed on LC forums it won't be long until quite a lot of people are banned, and getting an evidence based argument from LCFC will make it that much easier to debunk.

Interesting. So I guess they tug on his leash every so often, but they never outright suspend or ban him no matter how far afield he goes.
When I first visited the original LC forum back in (I believe it was) March 2006, he was a very prominent admin. And he was one of the first members, probably a single-digit member number.
Now that I think of it, when I first started protesting against his heavy-handed tactics (he banned anything that moved) I think I recall someone saying that he and Dylan had a long history.

it really reminds me of the stalinist purges in the soviet union
first you get rid of people who arent communists (debunkers and the skeptics forum in this case)
then people who are communist, but not from the working class (killtown and the alt theories forum)
then working class communists who arent right kind of communist (possibly mer cand lyte)
and so on and so forth with an ever narrowing description of what a "good" communist (truther) really is, and getting rid of anyone who doesnt fit the bill

Reading that exchange between you and Avery almost makes me feel sorry for him. I mean, I have always known that he hasn't a clue what he's talking about wrt the events of 9/11, has very poor research skills, has no interpretative skills, and that his intelligence is minimal, but when he proves all of these things repeatedly and publicly, while simultaneously proving that he has absolutely no concept how to engage in legitimate debate, one almost feels sorry for him.

I also urge other sites, like 911blogger.com, to crack down on members who think they know what’s best for the movement and who viciously attack other truthers who they disagree with.
I urge all truthers who support free speech and who are against bullying tactics to stand up against any member or group in the 9/11 truth movement who they think are stifling free speech and are acting like dictators.

If you take that stuff out, what's left?

About the banning of skeptics, KT says, "even though I personally would have handled it differently".
Isn't he the one who's always whining about people not being immediately banned whenever they question him?

The fractionalization of the "Truth Movement" has no bearing on the evaluation of their claims.
We all know KT is a couple of apple trees shy of a bushel.

Yes, but not in any form that you or I or any other rational person would recognize.

Killtown also has the MySpace for the Suzanne Jovin thing still up. I wonder if he realizes that there is a world beyond the basement of his mother's house...

What happened to the old site?
In February, MySpace caved in to pressure from a fanatical skeptics group to take down the original 'Justice for Suzanne' myspace because this fanatical skeptics group did not like the people who created this site. MySpace gave a generic reason for taking down the site, stating that the site violated it terms of service. We believe the old site did not violate their TOS, but to ensure that this site is not again taken down, we will refrain from posting photos of Suzanne (http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=suzanne+jovin&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2) on here for the time being just in case MySpace decides to take this site down like they did with the old one.

I'm not sure Killtown is responsible for that page. There's no 9/11 references, no mention of any link with the professor and no general nuttery. It looks like an actual, respectful tribute page. Not to say KT isn't capable of such respect, but I haven't seen much of it in his previous work.

OK guys, do you think it's time we finally recall Agent Killtown? Now that they've kicked him out of LC, his disinfo effectiveness will probably be limited from now on. So let's bring him home and throw him a nice party to celebrate his tireless and insanely inventive efforts to make the truth movement look as utterly ridiculous as possible. He's certainly earned it!

I hope you don't expect me to get on the boat and go up the river to Killtown's jungle compound with the mud and the sweat and the chopping of oxen and Dennis Hopper getting in my face while Killtown sits there all bloated reciting free form verse, The horror, the horror... and the music the damn music swirling like a dervish on acid C'mon baby take a chance with us and meet me at the back of the blue bus....
Everytime I wake up I think I'm back there in the jungle.
