So someone photograhed a 'shadow figure' in a graveyard! And there was no wayz we made it, lolz!

Yeah, I'm supposed to believe this wasn't staged? Does anyone even try to pull good hoaxes anymore?

What I want to know is how do they show these pictures on a radio show?

Um, that totally looks Photoshopped to me, by someone who doesn't understand how shadows work, to boot. It doesn't lay across the ground; also, it clearly goes past the tree in the BG and is not in any way deformed/deflected by the tree (ditto for the horizon).

It could, I suppose, be an all-black person (and I mean BLACK), like Nyarlathotep or something. But if that's the case, why's he leaning waaaaay back like that?

Nope, it looks completely faked.

Coincidentally I was watching my Babylon 5 DVDs and they too confirm that the Shadows are among us.

Everybody to their spaceships! ;)

Hey, they're going to believe it anyway. Why not just say "we have this amazing photograph! It shows something wooish! Wow!"

Everyone then goes "see! I knew it!"

Why don't ghosts ever appear during the day? When they are well lit and easier to photograph? Why do they only appear at night when there's lots of strange shadows making odd shapes? Always wondered that...

Maybe they're very bashful, like the ghosts in Super Mario Bros.

I've always thought it was an excellent depiction of real life: Ghosts, humans living with dinosaurs, mushrooms with faces, turtles are evil, fire solves all problems... all the key facts of life.

Actually, I think my money is on the shadow actually being a shadow.
The head matches the edge of the tree, and the base the gravestone. I don't really care what the baby elephants trunk shape was, but I'm guessing it wasn't a ghost.

I'm with you Jekyll. The light wasn't being held by the photographer. It was ground level and to the left. The only peice that doesn't fit the shadow of the stone is the supposed armlike appendage. Even that doesn't look like an arm. When you blow it up the arm section pixelates faster than the stone part of the shadow puting it much closer to the light source than the shadow of the stone.

Ysidro was right when he asked why they can't even do a good hoax. Maybe I should do a good hoax and let everybody here in on it.

Jekyl and My Wan, I was pretty much thinking the same thing. Drop a light on the ground and have a second person (you could do it with one, but why bother. Better results with two) stand in front of it.

Really, I'm just disappointed in today's paranormal claims. :D
