Category #4, to the “psychic” performer who fooled the greatest number of people using the least talent: Uri Geller – remember him? – who used the most tired old schoolboy trick in the book – moving-a-compass-using-a-magnet – on an Israeli TV series, thus garnering the most negative media reviews.

so, he fooled the greatest number of people by getting the most negative reviews.

huh?

How about this one? "Gas on sofa":

I couldn't resist. The word "pigasus" immediately brought my thoughts on that...

Why do you think he got that many negative reviews?

Considering the many cases of him being exposed as a fraud?

What I take is your attempt at a summary is incorrect.

So, grammar isn't your strong point...are you a fundie by chance?

He fooled the greatest number of people using the least talent.

AND

He garnered the most negative media reviews because he was repeatedly caught "cheating" supposedly exercising his psychic skills.

See--2 sentences. Scam artists fools people. Uri Geller fools lots of people using really piddly "scams". Get it? If not, then you are Uri Geller's next perfect customer...or Peter Popoff; I hear he's back in business, but his scams are a wee bit more complicated.

Peter believes that is it not possible that the person who...

"fooled the greatest number of people"

could also be the person who...

"garnered the most negative media reviews."

Oh, he is a cutie pie!

The awards are all negative. They do not give awards out to people who have promoted skepticism. That would generate a lot more publicity. So I gave out my own awards http://forums.randi.org/showthread.php?t=78752

That's rich.

He garnered the most negative media reviews because he was repeatedly caught "cheating" supposedly exercising his psychic skills.

So, he was repeatedly caught cheating. So, he DIDN'T fool a great number of people.

Yet another example of Randi saying things that don't make sense.

No, he fooled a great number of people and he was repeatedly caught cheating. The two are not mutually exclusive. Yet another example of you totally failing to understand that things do make sense, even after having it repeatedly explained to you.

Now, Peter, please rummage around your hand-bag and find that piece of glass with the silver backing. Yes, that's it. Now hold it up to your face, like a good boy. What do you see?
