First I asked him how he explains the photographs of airplane parts at the Pentagon if a plane never hit it. He told me to "check out the Final Cut". So we can possibly look forward to an "explanation" of that in this edition.

The lc crowd was complaining that they were getting killed on "digg" so I went over and checked it out. I found this quote by someone connected with lcfc and the comment after it pretty accurate.

FTA: "In order to access the normal "big movie" distribution channels, we would have to relinquish editorial control of the film. This just wasn't an option for us, as the integrity of our message is ultimately all that we have, and we feared that "the machine" would corrupt or squash our film and its movement."

Comment:

"In other words, no studio would touch this unless Avery and company allowed the film distributors legal staff to fact check the film and remove material that was incorrect or that blamed individuals of criminal wrong-doing without the evidence to back up the charge. Looks like the Loose Change boys will still be able to milk this tragedy for a few more bucks but nowhere near the amount that they were hoping for. Good!"

The only thing here at JREf that I have seen undebunkable, were movies that nothing in them to debunk. If LC:FC has any CT issues in it, they will be debunked.

The Legal Department of any major film studio would,after watching the first fifteen minutes of Loose Change,inform the studio heads that from a legal point of view they would be insane to release the film,but if they choose to do so, expect a request from the legal department to greatly expand to handle the lawsuits that would come rolling in.

This also why they are never going to get an MPAA rating. Part of the process is certification of ownship of rights. And oh yeah, you have to pay to get a MPAA ratings screening.

Theaters are still being worked on. Numerous independent chains are interested, as well as some mainstream ones...

No mainstream theatre will show a film without a MPAA rating. LC won't even end up in the bargin bin at Blockbuster, which also doesn't carry unrated films. Who does he think he's kidding?
