Catholic Church sees hope for unbaptized babies. (http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2007/04/20/limbo-in-limbo.html?ref=rss)

Wow, they really take this stuff seriously, don't they.

Ladaria said no one could know for certain what becomes of unbaptized babies since Scripture is largely silent on the matter.

Assuming they mean if they die, I think I know.

It wasn't at all amusing to me, but it struck a little close to home. The idea behind this appalled me as a Catholic and it is one of the reasons I started questioning. I could never understand why an innocent child should be punished in any way. Which led to me wondering about original sin, and so on down the road. Oh, but now there's 'hope' (but, let's not get carried away, it's only hope... Even though it's an invented thing in the first place..). Hope that, what, God isn't quite the ass we thought? Wonderful news.

Meanwhile, millions of babies are living in misery, whether they go to Hell or not, because they were born in poverty to parents who did not plan for them, because the Catholic Church opposed contraception and abortion.
