And D'Souza could not be more a terminal orifice.

Definitely a "keeper".

I am reminded of Shylock's speech in Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice -- "if you cut us, do we not bleed?"

That was an amazingly profound response.

I checked out D'Souza's website (http://www.dineshdsouza.com/). It appears he wrote a book. I would assume he wants be considered a writer .....

That sort of crap is par for the course for him.

D'Souza got his start in th early 90s with "Illiberal Education" which was the the conservative response to the whole "political correctness" bug-a-boo. Since then, he's been one of the Right's intellectual thugs. His last book, "The Enemy At Home: The Cultural Left And Its Responsibility For 9-11" charges that gay marriage, The Vagina Monologues, single motherhood, Brittany Spears, and (of course) Hilary Clinton enraged the the Muslim world and brought the Twin Towers crashing down. So American should do our best to placate them by being as uptight and bigoted as the Muslim world is so as not to give them an excuse to attack us in the future... this is of course while we continue to bomb their cities, build U.S. Army bases in their countries, and make sure the Israelis have enough tanks and guns to slaughter the Palestinians.

I hear being a douchebag is the first step towards writing a book.

While I am quite sure that B. Spears enraged fundie Mouslims and Xtians, I think that is one of the few points in her favor!

of course while we continue to bomb their cities, build U.S. Army bases in their countries, and make sure the Israelis have enough tanks and guns to slaughter the Palestinians.

It would be nice though .... if our newspapers reported on actions in various Middle Eastern cities/villages/warzones/illiterate zones run by mullahs as being something other than the holy city of Fallujah (etc. insert the latest name where "news" is....)

I think left, right, atheist, all pretty much could agree that those are definitely not holy cities or places in any mainstream view of events.
