I'm not so worried about all the non hydrated babies that ended up in Limbo but all the projects I've started that I've never finished - Where do they go????

Hi!! This is my first post. Thought I'd start out with a smart ass remark!

So far my favorite piece I've picked up here is the one "set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life" :D

I live in Minnesota, USA, and am retired and almost 100% Irish with a touch of Norwegian for added confusion.

Infinite probability is my favorite mind tease.

Welcome, Donavon!

You're saying you've got probabilities greater than 1?

I imagine the Pope canceled Limbo because the stick kept knocking his miter off.

Pause for applause!

Ok, I'm not the official forum greeter, nor am I the forum washed out Las Vegas comedian, but welcome!

That's a Terry Preatchett quote. His books are awesome.

Welcome to the forum, especially the Norwegian part of you ;)

Bah!

No true JREF poster stops at one post and then leaves for a while. You have to start an arguement over water properties or dust in front of a camera or some other inane woo idea and then bash the first poster who contridicts you and then focus on one poster and only reply to their post and then start posting in various fonts and colors and then use run on sentences which go on and on with no punctuation

(Oh and welcome to the forums! :D )

Oh great! What know, the souls of all those unbaptized babies will have to go somewhere, and if the bleeding heart liberals have their way, it will to the U.S. where they will take jobs from American families, burden our welfare systems, and commit heinous crimes! I want my children to speak English just like Jesus did, I don't want to hear my kids babbling in that "goo-goo, gah-gah" crap!

Go back to where you belong, babyback!

Okay, but there's still bingo, right?

Right?

Thanks everyone.

And thanks for the author's name Terry Pratchett.

My problem with the new clarification of the third edition rules is the Messiah class now gets +2 on saves and Devastating Salvation has been made unrealistic.

Now I have to respec and buy all new books. I wish they would go back to the second edition ruleset.

The new pope is such a Rules lawyer.

Fronzel, hold off on that, I think Purgatory is next and holy water (dried chicken bones in drought areas) isn't looking too good either.

Jesus saves.

The rest of you take damage.

Limbo was still part of the belief system back when I was a Catholic lad. (1960s)

I suppose the church fathers had to come up with Limbo due to the glaring logical flaws in the salvation scheme. What to do with all those poor, innocent kiddies slain before reaching "the age of reason", and who were unbaptized?

What to do with the poor innocent "heathens" that had never experienced even one missionary? (and left him uneaten....)

I envisioned the place as very strange; with thousands of babies and little kids running around, along with the occasional (very confused) savage....
