Here she comes!
She's leaving the View and heading our way! Gravy and Ron: Get your Hardfire jet fueled up and on the tarmac, ready for instant launch to battle the O'Donnell assault - on The Twoof. :boxedin:
"The falling of the twin towers served to remind me that many of the assumptions Americans have about their lives are rooted in false feelings of security," O'Donnell wrote. "In light of this reminder, I have begun doing exactly what this country, at its best, allows for me to do: inquire. Investigate. America is great in so many ways, one of which is the freedom to speak, and indeed think, freely. I have, of late, begun exercising the rights bestowed upon me by the democratic system I value, and the exercising of these rights has taken the form of an inquiry into what happened five years ago, an inquiry that resists the dominant explanations and that dares to entertain ideas that push me to the edge of what is bearable. I have come to no conclusions and, given the scope of the subject, will not for some time."

I have come to no conclusions
Why do truthers say this? "I have not come to a conclusion, I am merely asking questions."
Of course they have come to a conclusion! You know full well Rosie believes 9-11 was an inside job. That is just plain dishonesty.

I love the claim that Rosie wanted a deal for one year, while ABC wanted a deal for three years.

"The Donald" seems to think that he is responsible.
Donald Trump maintained Wednesday that Rosie O'Donnell was not departing The View on her own volition but had in fact been fired by ABC. "I'm proud to say I probably had a part in it," Trump, who earlier in the year had engaged in a long-running war of words with O'Donnell, said. ABC quickly issued a denial But Robert Thompson, director of Syracuse University's Center for the Study of Popular Television, suggested there may have been some measure of truth in Trump's assertions, noting that while O'Donnell may have succeeded in boosting The View's ratings by 17 percent this season, she was probably being viewed warily by advertisers. In the post-Don Imus era, Thompson told the Philadelphia Inquirer, advertisers are "looking for potential time bombs. It gets to the point where they question whether somebody is worth the trouble. Rosie constantly went over the line." The Catholic League's William Donohue welcomed O'Donnell's departure, telling the New York Times, "She's offended a lot of people. ... She's a train wreck."

Anyone seen her blog (http://www.rosie.com/) today?
You mean this?
on todays taped show
which will air friday
we had two 911 first responders
both horrifically sick
their lungs no longer function
that tuesday in september
in they went to the smoking pile
inhaling the toxic mess
nearly 6 years later
these once sturdy americans
r completely disabled
unable to walk up a flight of stairs
one had an oxygen tank with him
tubes in his nose forcing air in
to destroyed lungs
unbearable
there were 50 thousand people
who walked toward the fallen towers
half of them r now sick
25 thousand people
25 THOUSAND PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!
we went to commercial
an audience members stood up
holding a sears portrait studio photo
of 2 children
“these r the victims of 911 - she said crying
her hands above her head - showing the picture
my children who will b orphans -
when this disease soon kills me”
she was an EMT
another - alex coughing laboring to breathe
told his tale
and then another
unreal
truly unreal
the united states
no funding for treatment of these humans
i cried
got into my car drove away from the studio
there were 3 dozen press people waiting
cameras video crews reporters
they lept at the car
like i was brittney or lindsay
pushing flashing yelling
breaking news in america
i was the story
not them
what’s wrong with this picture
nearly everything
For once in a long while, I agree with her.

Donald is a blowhard. Rosie wanted 10 for a year, they wanted 3 years for 10. They were willing to pay to keep her on, she was willing to stay for the right price. And so it's over. It's an amicable parting, and Donald got some more licks in to sell ads over on CNN. It's a business.

I just found that odd. Considering how Rosie leaves out punctuation, letters, and entire words, why the need for the "sears portrait studio" description? Bizarre.

If you think that we are all Cowards come to my back yard when I am doing one of the experiments and we will see who runs when it goes off.
There is a difference between INTERNET research and true research and investigation. I blew up another camera, but it was all PhantomWolf's fault,:D I kept thinking about a post he made on Baut, a few years ago and well lets just say that led to a bang or should I say boom of an idea.
Remember PhantomWolf when I told you that you could not see aluminum metal in an oxygen atmosphere, and you posted the link on dyed aluminum, well what you see when you expose aluminum to Hydrochloric acid is Aluminum Chloride not aluminum. That dissolves in water to form Aluminum Oxide Hydroxide, giving off chlorine and Hydrogen.
PS. I was also right you can still not see pure aluminum in an atmosphere containing Oxygen because the reaction to aluminum oxide is just so fast it is in fact almost instantaneous.
That is why aluminum does not burn like magnesium where the reaction is slower allowing the combustion of magnesium in air.

So, from now on, it's just a matter of time...
So she was the one piece that the truth movement was lacking? It wasn't a structural engineer who published a paper about 9/11 being an inside job, it's not a member of the Bush Admin. producing papers signed by the President authorizing the attacks. It was a bad stand-up comic from the 80s, turned talk show host. That's the movement's biggest victory?
She's got something that you cowards lack. Courage.
I'm sorry, I don't have a nationwide network talk show as a soap box, from which I could speak about whatever I wanted. I think the sentence you were looking for was, "She has one thing that you skeptics lack. Ignorance.

The courage to drive away from the ill rescue workers after she had exploited them for ratings and publicity?
How about actually setting up a fund to help these people? Or writing her own check?
If you think she displays courage, then I am proud to call myself a coward.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2007/04/24/2007-04-24_hope_for_sick_heroes_in_50m_vote.html
Sick 9/11 responders would be able to get treatment for their illnesses with $50 million in federal funds that Congress will vote on this week.
The money, attached to an emergency spending bill for the Iraq war, would keep monitoring and care programs at Mount Sinai Medical Center and the FDNY running through the end of the year.
...
President Bush has vowed to veto the legislation because it is attached to a timetable for leaving Iraq. But even if he does, Clinton and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said that when Congress writes a new version, it should include the 9/11 health money.
Mayor Bloomberg has said $150 million in federal aid is needed annually to sustain the Mount Sinai and FDNY programs and another at Bellevue Hospital, which together have screened around 35,000 people.
Hopefully if Bush vetos the legislation, the new version will be for $150 million a year.
